Gameplay wise, there are no health bars for you or the enemy its one shot one kill so you need to stay on your toes. The FOV is rather small so you cant exactly run and gun or you'll die and get sent right back to the start of the level which is a little annoying, but it does make for a good challenge and can be fun. The weapon variety is slim but its sorta supposed to be to fit the late 1800s western theme...they werent rocking anything special so it doesn't make for super special or overly exciting gameplay. There are perks that give you upgrades, but none of them are very appealing to warrant doing a side quest for money to unlock the perks. One thing I can truly praise it for is the art style is awesome and the music is good. However the dialogue is poorly written and wildly inconsistent. Like the Mexican has a nasty attitude but is very casual at times that just don't make sense. A Mexican gang leader saying "listen man" in the 1800s just sounds goofy, "listen pendejo" sounds more accurate to the theme, situation, and character. The story is also rather inconsistent at times. Like Act 1 and Act 2 were pretty interesting as the Mexican's story was actively developing and you meet characters that help progress his story. Act 3 and Act 4 start to feel like filler and feel as if the story is straying away from the Mexican. It becomes "kill this guy and I'll tell you where this guy is" "help me defend this place and I will introduce you to him." I'm not the target audience nor am I an amazing reviewer so a lot of this may sound negative but you do get a decent experience and it's clear there was a lot of love put innto this. I'd recommend to those that enjoy this genre of game but I would not recommend to a friend.

Game is not "bad", but its basically clunky Hotline Miami without much sauce. The artstyle looks good but it makes everything blend in.

Kovboy, Meksika ve 1800lerde geçen şeyleri seviyorsanız beğenebileceğiniz bir tür hikaye oyunu. Bedavaya aldığım için böyle bir performans beklemiyordum ama gayet güzel.
