Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This feels like it was made with AI. I usually enjoy these games but in this case there's a load of parts int he background where bits have been erased, most visibly the very top of the largest toadstool. The hitboxes for the cats are off as well. Feels like a quickly made cashgrab.

Polecam poprawkę hitboxów i dodanie kolorów do obu dostępnych poziomów. Kolejna gra o szukaniu kotów, ale ta ma naprawdę fajną muzykę w tle, która ją wyróżnia. Grałem w nią jeszcze raz, żeby znów ją usłyszeć.
Hit boxes are shoddy at best and often finding a cat removes that chunk of the background image.
100 Forest Cats, developed by 100 Cozy Games, Cats and published by 100 Cozy Games, is a gentle and deliberately unhurried hidden-object experience designed to provide comfort, charm, and a sense of calm discovery. The game invites players into a whimsical forest environment where the sole objective is to find one hundred cleverly hidden cats scattered throughout beautifully illustrated scenes. From the very beginning, it’s clear that this is not a game built around challenge or complexity, but rather one that prioritizes relaxation and visual enjoyment, offering a cozy escape that feels more like a quiet activity book than a traditional video game. The gameplay is built on an extremely accessible foundation. Players explore a hand-drawn forest scene and carefully scan the environment to locate cats that blend into the scenery through clever placement, color matching, and playful disguises. Some cats are immediately visible, while others are tucked behind foliage, perched in trees, or subtly shaped into environmental details, rewarding patient observation rather than sharp reflexes. There are no timers, penalties, or fail states, allowing players to progress entirely at their own pace. This lack of pressure is a defining feature, transforming the act of searching into a soothing routine that encourages mindfulness and attention to detail. What elevates 100 Forest Cats beyond a basic hidden-object checklist is its presentation. The art style is warm, colorful, and inviting, with forest backgrounds that feel alive without becoming visually cluttered. The illustrations strike a careful balance between detail and clarity, ensuring that cats are cleverly concealed without becoming frustratingly obscure. The user interface remains minimal and intuitive, keeping distractions to a minimum so that the focus stays firmly on exploration. Simple quality-of-life features such as zooming and brightness adjustments further enhance accessibility, making the experience comfortable across different screen sizes and for players of varying ages. Sound design plays a subtle but effective role in reinforcing the game’s cozy identity. Soft ambient music accompanies the search, creating a peaceful backdrop that complements the visuals without drawing attention away from them. Each discovered cat is punctuated with a gentle sound effect or a quiet meow, offering a small but satisfying reward that reinforces progress. These audio cues, combined with the game’s relaxed pacing, make the experience especially well suited for unwinding after a long day or enjoying short, stress-free play sessions. While the simplicity of 100 Forest Cats is its greatest strength, it also defines its limitations. The core gameplay loop remains consistent throughout, and players seeking mechanical variety or escalating challenge may find the experience brief or repetitive. Once all cats are found, there is little reason to revisit the scenes beyond pure aesthetic appreciation. However, the game’s modest scope works in its favor, as it never overstays its welcome or pads itself with unnecessary content. Instead, it delivers exactly what it promises: a concise, charming, and comforting experience centered on visual discovery. Ultimately, 100 Forest Cats succeeds by fully committing to its cozy philosophy. It offers a calm, approachable hidden-object game that values atmosphere and enjoyment over difficulty and depth. While it may not appeal to players looking for complex puzzles or long-term progression systems, it provides a delightful and satisfying experience for fans of casual games, cat lovers, and anyone seeking a peaceful digital pastime. Its charm lies in its restraint, making it a small but memorable addition to the growing collection of cozy indie games on Steam. Rating: 6/10
