Zup! Zero 2 is a blatant achievement farmer attached to a relatively barebones physics puzzle game. I was aware of this before I purchased it; in truth, I only bought it because I liked the look of one of the points shop backgrounds it has. The game as a whole is very short, taking around an hour to beat, so it isn't terrible value if you just want some basic puzzles to complete. Most of the puzzles aren't very good though. Gameplay is based around forcing a blue ball onto a goal space by pushing it with yellow balls and explosive blocks. You typically don't have a lot of options for what you can do in each level though. A level might contain 4 objects that you can interact with. 1 of these could be for decoration, so the 'puzzle' is simply a matter or trial and error as you click on the other 3 objects in various orders until the level is complete. Some levels have timing elements, where you need to detonate the explosive blocks at the right moment to increase the speed of a ball and give it enough momentum to reach its destination. I found these levels more fun, but they aren't really puzzles either. It felt more like watching a kids marble run toy in action. I doubt I will ever replay Zup! Zero 2, but I hardly feel cheated out of my 90 cents either. It's fine if you want something basic to kill a few minutes of time, but I'd suggest looking elsewhere if you want any sort of depth.
