gut guter am gutesten beste game einfach für zwischendurch empfehlenswert!
the worst controls I have ever come across... just utter stupidity
Garbage.
The 15 years old code standards make the default resolution in this game...tiny, not adapting to our screen, so switching between the game ad anything else will lag and change the desktop organisation. It's not the worst racing game, but it's not among the best. The graphics are still cute, the items are fun... it's not expensive, it was made with love. That all the positive things I can say. No tutorial about the different "game modes". Not knowing the rules, expect to loose very often at first. My first experience was a tag game on a tiny arena where everyone (AI?) was confuse and kept faling undner the map. There is no upgrades for the kart, and by default, it's difficult to control and slow. But we can customize the style. The circutits are lovely! We can choose a list of curcuits to play like in a shampionship. But not the order in which they will be played - unless that is a bug I'm encountering. There UI doesn't have any accessibility settings (small font). The menus lack fuctionalities like disabling all tracks, or ading all tracks. For a 15 years old solo dev game, it's not bad. But it might be more logical to give it free. There is an obligatory warmup, I think it's a way to get used to the circuits, instead of the flying video we get of the whole track. But that warmup only let us test the first part of the track, we can't knwo whater to expect after that. The circuits are lovely, the tiny cars and pilots are cute, the animations and the sounds are good. Personally, I liked the idea, but the result lacks polish. I can't recommand buying it, or even keeping it in your livrary today though. If a remake came, with - adpatative graphics that doesn't change our screen resolution, - accessibility / difficulty settings, - car upgrades that are more than just visuals, - more ways to handle the list of tracks (grouped into tabs by theme / game mods), - and a tutorial for each game mode, I'd like to give it a positive eval, then.
Controls are janky. unplayable
This game is okay. Just okay. I bought it because it seemed to have a variety of activities, wacky physics, and the ability for a group of more than 4 people to join at the same time. And it does have all those things. But the gameplay and mechanics aren't particularly good. The ball physics in sports maps are very difficult to work with. Most of the race tracks are forgettable. If you want to get it on sale and have a couple laughs with your friends, it might be worth it. But if you want a really fine tuned and polished experience, you're better off looking elsewhere.
