推荐。 谜题还是比较容易。毕竟只有Mate in 4而已。 谜题比Mate in 1肯定要难,所以顾着游戏时长和复杂位置的真实对局减少,只有100题。
Great puzzles to improve chess visualisation and common mating patterns, it helped me a lot.

This was a nice challenge. There are 100 carefully selected chess puzzles in this game where the solution was difficult but not unusual. Most of these patterns can be found in typical chess games. My only complaint was that after the 50th puzzle, the game stopped giving out achievements. That is a small problem but I like receiving achievements. Why stop them in mid-game? Thank you again developers for a great chess game. I will play through them again sometime to stay tactically sharp.

'Zen Chess: Mate in Four' is a minimalist chess puzzle game featuring a beautifully designed chess board and pieces, an original soundtrack specially composed to help you keep your focus and concentration, 100 puzzles, and 10 achievements. Completing the game and unlocking all achievements took me approximately 25 minutes, making it possible to accomplish everything in a single sitting. With a convenient save feature, players can easily resume their progress or start anew, and the game offers unlimited time to reach your goal of solving the 100 mate-in-four puzzles. I would rate its difficulty at 1/10 if you are not a beginner in chess, or 6/10 if you aim to finish the game without any mistakes. If you are a chess enthusiast and have already played 'Zen Chess: Mate in One', 'Zen Chess: Mate in Two' and 'Zen Chess: Mate in Three' (which can also be found on Steam), then you also need to play 'Zen Chess: Mate in Four'. The game presents you with 100 carefully selected mate-in-three puzzles that are both challenging and satisfying to solve. Each puzzle is a unique test of your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, making it a perfect way to sharpen your chess abilities. It also features a clean, minimalist design with a beautifully crafted chess board and pieces. This design choice helps to keep the focus on the puzzles without any unnecessary distractions. Additionally, the original soundtrack is a nice touch, providing a calming background that aids concentration. 'Zen Chess: Mate in Four' is clearly made with care and attention to detail, and this is evident in the overall presentation. It doesn't have any graphic or puzzle mistakes, and while you can still make impossible moves that will be considered mistakes, everything else works perfectly. The puzzles are engaging and require a good deal of strategic thinking to solve. While the game does not offer any additional features beyond the puzzles and the minimalist presentation, it accomplishes what it sets out to do: provide a focused and pleasant chess puzzle experience. I got this game on a small sale, for 0.79 eurocents, but I think that its initial price is fair as well. Considering all the facts, I would recommend this game to those who want to test or improve their chess skills or to those who want to try new games or are doing playthroughs. All mate in 1,2,3,4 games are very nice, makes you think, and it's very satisfying to solve some harder ones.. Sometimes i solve a puzzle but can't really tell how and why. The colors and the bightness are a little tiring for my eyes. You can adjust sound and music volume (upper left corner, barely visible) and listen to your own music. About illegal moves... I have a wooden chessboard at home and i can move them so illegally, that chess-cops once fined me becouse i set up my rooks upside down.
The final installation in the Zen Chess series promises to be the most complex, having to think 4 moves ahead - however, also, it is the weakest, and not quite unexpectedly. To the forefront comes the problem of Mi2 and Mi3 - the game is a puzzle game with a chess skin, and not a chess game. The game doesn't counter your moves, it just reacts like an automaton - if you make the right move, then it makes its (pre-baked) countermove, if you make the wrong move, it just resets the puzzle. It was sort of OK for 2 moves, annoying but bearable for 3 moves, and really disappointing for 4 moves. In addition, the puzzles are markedly weaker than in the previous games. Having done the first 50 (which should be all, but then there are more?), these puzzles are 90% about check, check, check - there are hardly any where you need to find a clever setup move which leaves black with its pants down. The counter-moves the computer player makes are also sometimes suspicious - I'm not saying they are wrong, but they do look silly, like moving away from the attacking undefended queen instead of taking it. The game kept the nice interface of its predecessors, but that's hardly something difficult to do - with the more-often-than-not disappointing puzzles, I can't wholeheartedly recommend this 4th installment of the Zen Chess series.
Подборка очень красивых матовых комбинаций. Играю и получаю удовольствие от того, как они делаются. Настоятельно рекомендую для развития эстетического чувства в шахматах (что, по мнению многих тренеров-гроссмейстеров, очень важно для роста в игре).
