Zefyr: A Thief's Melody

This game was such a wonderful little delight. It just oozes charm around every corner. I think there was a bit of tonal whiplash with how the characters are written in comparison to the world as presented, but beyond that I just thought it was overall a very nice little 3D adventure game!

Very charming Wind Waker spiritual successor with BOTW climbing and lovely cel shading graphics ( especially the water and lighting ) The game oozes heart and passion and is a testament to what a single person can achieve with enough time, dedication and effort

- So far game's great: - Graphics and overall aesthetics are very nice - Gameplay is simple but fun - Story is also simple but so far nice and sweet - Game is best played on controller for the best experience in my opinion but keyboard and mouse will do just fine. I'll update this review when I finish the game but so far 4/5 stars, game is simple, sweet, and an overall wholesome platforming experience with beautiful graphics. Only complaint so far is that I'd like more content but I'm only three hours in so we'll see.

This was an absolute GEM of a game that completely surprised me with how rich it felt. Before getting the game, I had Sun Wukong vibes and thought this game would go in that sort of direction. Instead, this solo dev's 12 year passion project brought me feelings of adventure and whimsy with impeccable Wind Waker vibes. The beautiful open world felt adventurous, and riding on a sea turtle while 3-4 other sea turtles swim with you was absolutely peak. The platforming was alright, but unlocking the grapple hook at the end of the game made movement significantly more satisfying. That, topped with some boss encounters made me feel like I was playing Shadow of the Colossus again with how big some of them got and how slick movement could be. There is a story to this game, but it's rather short and not really too exciting, but I feel that's partly due to the design of this game: being a cute, lighthearted adventure. The story is somewhat similar to Wind Waker since your sister gets kidnapped and now you have to adventure to find where she was taken and rescue her. At no point did the story stress anything or made the situation feel dramatic or suspenseful; often times you find a trail from her sister and it's just her saying she's being pampered by her kidnappers. While I tend to enjoy stories more when they get more intense, this whimsical journey was filled with nothing but good vibes and pretty scenery. Genuinely, this game has been one of my best games played this year so far. I could feel the heart and soul poured into this game by the dev and each minute I played the game felt somewhat inspiring, like maybe [b]I[/b] could make a game as fun as this. These are the type of indie games I always love to play, and I would love to see more of what's to come. Thank you Mathias, wishing all the best for whatever you make next.

轻量化的游戏，战斗压力不会很大，地图探索失败还可以重新来过，手残党友好。 11小时可以通关，体验中发现解密玩法非常有意思，随着任务推进不断解锁特殊道具，进化过程很合理。前期原始人只能用棍子，后期无限大飞，海龟飞驰还是很爽的。地图设计里掺了很多小巧思，需要多动脑思考。 缺点是任务和剧情设计的一般，做任务要找谁必须要先完成他的其他要求，太过于繁琐。地图显示和任务指引不够好，有时候很容易就会迷路，找不到关键道具，狠狠卡关(游戏太小众，攻略都找不到）。 还是比较推荐的。

Fantastic game that was so much fun to play. You can tell a lot of passion and hard work went into making it; very impressive. Once you get access to the full map, make sure you check out some of the smaller islands for some helpful rewards.
