About
USSR, 1986. When Ira Grachevskaya goes missing in the closed city of Vorkuta-5, not a soul seems to be concerned – except for the quiet outcast Asya Shubina, that is. Uncover the mystery behind Ira’s disappearance, transmit your radio signal to the universe and learn why a bird flies past the window.
Meet the cast.

A problem child and a truant, Ira doesn't have the best reputation. Her standoffish demeanor makes her difficult to talk to, especially for someone as meek as you. There is a rumour she's been meeting with an older man.

Marina's carefree personality makes her quite popular among her classmates. Adults don't seem to like her very much, probably due to poor grades. Despite the girl's outgoing nature, her worldview is rather cynical.

A boy with an unpleasant sense of humour. Likes picking on people weaker than him, namely you. His family has been a little out of it the past few weeks.

You. Not worth writing about.

对社会至高的思考,对世界至深的爱
This game in and of itself teaches you how to love it. Despite the questions unanswered, despite the vagueness of the message, I love this game and everything in it.
Do you dictate whether you are worthwhile writing about or is it the people around you
short and bittersweet visual novel, it's free so would highly recommend anyone try it out and go in blind. only issue of note would be the pacing. the first few segments are, while important in establishing asya's attitude, philosophies, and delusions, imo a bit too long/slow. zato also just punches you in the gut and drops the brakes in the last fourth or so. disliked asya's character at the start and unfortunately kept seeing more and more of myself in her. her subtle growth over the course of the story despite never losing love also really endears her to me, i love this stupid parabolic antenna. a lot of school stories lean too extreme with making child characters too naive or mature but i think zato hits that sweet spot with asya. asya's trauma, autism, self-flagellation, over-awareness, and so on are perfectly blended within a kid's brain. this perspective of hers becomes increasingly crucial to the presentation of the story and the final sequences. cant confidently say zato has convinced me to wholly love the world like asya but it's been a good reminder for me to think more critically about how we view ourselves and to say ourselves more often, I love you. I love you. I love you. .. / .-.. --- ...- . / -.-- --- ..-.
