Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
12 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

The VRAINS campaing is pure ****. Like they didnt even bother to add any text at all, you can just replay the duels from the show. And thats were the game really gets awful: you cant win with the Story decks. I am a casual player who only watched the shows and play a little bit of Master duel and I have 0 chance of winning anything. First of all: this game is pure luck, you can get 4 spells and the most useless monster in the whole deck when starting while the enemy gets (which I find very sus) the exact same 7 cards every round. I tried one battle for 8 times and for some reason the bot got the same spell 8 times over. In a 33 card deck with 3 cards of this you would have a chance of 10% to get this, which is for 8 times in a row has a probability of something around 0.0000001%. So for myself I have absolutely zero fun with this, because in all 20 campaign battles I did (except for the tutorials) I only got 2 battles were I had enough luck to first try it and dont get messed up by this system. I cant recommend this game anyone who just wants to play chill rounds of Yu-Gi-Oh! because this game is hard as sh*t and while I enjoy playing Dark Souls were you get better over time, I dont even wanna play this game anymore in my life, because it is pure luck.

12 on sale3 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 3 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 12 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's a good game. It's an IP cash-grab so don't expect anything ground breaking. It's designed to be played single player. The deck building tool is easy to use. It also plays well on steam deck.
Fun, but frustrating there isn't a way to alter the ban list for private matches online.

I was expecting a 1v1 mode vs CPU but it forces me to play campaign. Also , animations are horrible.

I think I have over 200 hours in this game on the Nintendo Switch. I bought it on that platform when it first released. Easily my most-played Yu-Gi-Oh! simulator in fifteen years. Huge card variety and plenty of single-player content. I stopped watching the anime after 5D's so the story summaries for the later series are cool. Got to know the characters behind the archetypes through those. The multiplayer is less active than either Duel Links or Master Duel. Those are the games for the competitive card battlers. Legacy of the Duelist is closer to the YuGiOh RPG games of the GameBoy Advance or DS eras. I can start it up in on slow evenings and grind some campaigns duels. Or spend currency on a bunch of packs for an archetype I've never played before. Throw a custom deck together and maybe play with it for a day before looking up a guide and seeing how the experienced players build it.
