Don’t overlook this lost gem! It’s a tasty morsel of trivia that we found under the couch back in the early 2000s, and now we’re pulling it right back out from under that same, dust-mite filled couch! YOU DON’T KNOW JACK, the trivia game that became a TV show that became a massage therapist (briefly) is hoisting her billowy sails once...

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Warning: Broken Game! This game has design/implementation defects that will render this unplayable for many gamers. The game does not launch on Windows 10/11, it cannot be played on any contemporary gaming PC.
YOU DON'T KNOW JACK Vol. 6 The Lost Gold is an ancient game from 2003. It's a whopping 21 years old at the time of this review. The game lacks support for any modern gaming display resolutions (or widescreen monitors), hasn't been modernised or updated to run on modern gaming PCs. The game does not work and cannot be played. This seems to have been put on Steam as a nostalgia gouge, or just a cash grab to try profit from abandonware. It was an old party/quiz game, which is fine I suppose, but you can play those for free in a web browser. Why on earth would anyone pay money for one on Steam? Let alone a broken one that doesn't work! Unethically, the developers have left this on the Steam store in an unplayable and broken state. It's the responsibility of the developer to maintain their product, ensure it runs on all modern PCs, or if they determine there's defects and the game doesn't work, they should remove it from sale instead of misleadingly trying to scam gamers into buying knowingly defective products. This is harmful to Steam and to gamers, not just because it's a direct and intentional attempt to scam people, but because it takes a share of the marketing space and visibility away from other games. It's polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuine games and for genuine indie developers who put months or years into making proper games find an audience. So, should you buy this broken game that doesn't even work? The developer is deliberately and unethically trying to scam gamers into paying them the preposterous price of $2 USD for a game they know is broken. Don't give it to them.

Bought this as a last resort due to this game not even installing correctly on my VM. Game doesn't work without the FAN MADE Windows 10 patch, and even then is the least interesting Jack game to play. An unskippable intro cutscene for a 7-question game where Schmitty reads only 300 questions, and the jokes written for him don't even land. Schmitty's a great host in Quiplash and the previous Jack games, but the writing in this one does him no justice. Add on a pirate theme that wasn't at all needed and you've just made what many consider to be the worst You Don't Know Jack title. To think THIS game was added onto the Steam pack and NOT 5th Dementia simply because it doesn't have online play anymore... It's not even worth $2. This should've been flat out free.
Before you buy and install the game, make sure you take a look at Real Bonzibuddy's guide if you have Windows 10 or 11! The game as installed will not work on those systems at first, but once you patch the game, you'll be able to run it and enjoy some trivia! Give it a shot!
Not the best YDKJ game and I get people's criticisms but personally I like this one. Please read others' reviews about problems with the game (like there only being 300 questions meaning this is probably the shortest YDKJ game in the franchise and the fact you need an external patch for it to even work on windows 10) because I'm just gonna detail what I like about this entry in the YDKJ franchise Prime example: Schmitty. if you're like me, you're some poor mf with parental issues that finds comfort in Schmitty (for whatever reason.) You'll like him in this one, he's way more tame and less mean than in other entries and that might not be for everyone, but Schmitty being more fatherly to the player on occasion makes this a good comfort game for me (and anyone else who finds comfort in Schmitty). Also its nice if I just want a quick game of YDKJ for some reason. Of course most people go into YDKJ for the brutality and the hosts disrespecting the player (which I love too) but if I need to unwind or something, The Lost Gold is a good way to get my mood back up. Again not the BEST YDKJ game but a good one if you find comfort in YDKJ as a series and like Schmitty and find him silly and entertaining. This review is probably coated in bias but who cares its a steam review for a trivia game from 2003 LMAOOOOOO
