Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
An unusual error manifests on April 4th, a day that echoes the enigmatic code 404. In a desperate act of innocence, a child relinquishes her name for an invitation to a birthday party, her hope tethered to the faint possibility of finding her brother. Meanwhile, Alex, a recent college graduate, returns home, only to find his reality unspooling like a threadbare tapestry. Guided by a cat which slips through the very fabric of his mind, Alex descends into the depths of his consciousness where he witnesses the impossible: a woman, locked away in an iron maiden, vanishing into thin air. A vision which ignites an undying obsession and threatens to unravel the boundaries of his world.
Combat in YIIK I.V is an arcane dance, a turn-based system where players use everyday weapons against bizarre entities, aided by the power of Karta. When players or enemies take damage, they start to bleed, and every action taken while bleeding brings them closer to defeat. It’s a race against time to outlast the enemy and stem the flow of blood.
Navigate landscapes that blur the line between reality and dreams. These spaces are filled with intricate puzzles, deadly traps, and odd adversaries that challenge your perception, pushing the boundaries of what you know to be real.
The narrative shifts between the perspectives of Alex and the Nameless Child, drawing you into their separate yet intertwined realities, each twist revealing deeper layers of their destinies.

The game’s soundtrack features over 200 tracks across a wide range of genres, from drum and bass to progressive rock. Much of the music is performed by live musicians, adding a vibrant and authentic layer to the experience.

Reviews

i used to be someone repulsed by yiik because of the loud outcries, but ever since i played 1.5 i've been under the influence of yiikmania to the point i have admiration and have intense intrigue at picking apart the minds of both game and developer's thoughts encompassing it. genuinely an intriguing game and story. i cant believe i fell for the FF13 hate phenomena a second time, man.
if you find yourself relating to Alex, congrats you're a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lmfao, though i found out that an irl friend of mine is a hipster like him
yo this game lit AF better than deltarune thats for sure
I'm going to be annoying about this game until the stupid hate train about the earlier version stops overshadowing it, damn it. YIIK is weird and confusing but it's also clearly inspired and fun as hell. I love the music and I love that Alex sucks. I need to be honest and say that I played through a good chunk of this and then stopped, not because of the game but because I'm bad at YIIK and bad at committing to anything, but I haven't stopped thinking about it and I know I will pick it up again and have fun. Seeing more striking and interesting things happen as I played felt like a reward.
If YIIK: A Postmodern RPG has million number of fans I am one of them. If YIIK: A Postmodern RPG has ten fans I am one of them. If YIIK: A Postmodern RPG has only one fan, that is me. If YIIK: A Postmodern RPG has no fans, that means I am no longer on Earth. If the world is against YIIK: A Postmodern RPG, then I am against the world. Till my last breath I will never stop being a YIIK: A Postmodern RPG fan. I always have, and always will be, a YIIK: A Postmodern RPG glazer.
You know, there was a Youtube video that described how playing Atari 2600 games during a hot summer in the 1980s felt like communicating with aliens from outer space. Playing YIIK for the first time during this summer actually evoked a similar feeling and made me think about that description again. Besides that, I think YIIK understood the "Earthbound-inspired" assignment pretty well, especially the I.V update. I love the more strategic combat system of the update, but I appreciate the option to go back to the old battle mode because the difference between Dark Game and old battle mode is night and day, and anyone who's even curious about what YIIK was like before I.V should enable it when that's available. Honestly the one real gripe I have about it is the inability to skip dialogues specifically, which just makes it so I have to mash the A button through those for repeat playthroughs,
This game will stick in your brain no matter what you think about it, I beat it this January and I'm still trying to think about how I feel about this game. With that being said I had a great time when I was playing the game.
