Yes, Your Grace

Lo jugué hace un tiempo y recién ahora me pongo al día con la review, pero valió la pena escribirla. Es un juego indie de pixel art sencillo en apariencia, pero con una historia que engancha y momentos genuinamente emocionantes. Disfruté cada parte: el ritmo, la narrativa, la estética. No hace falta ser un título enorme para dejar huella. Ya tengo en la mira la siguiente entrega.

"No podéis contentar a todos, pues mientras ofrecéis vuestra mano, soltáis vuestra arma. Un reino no se sostiene con buenas intenciones. Guardad vuestra espada, pues aquellos a quienes negasteis ambas cosas serán los primeros en recordar vuestra elección..." Yes, Your Grace nos pone en la piel de un monarca cuyas tierras vivieron mejores días. Ahora, una nueva amenaza se cierne sobre un reino frágil. El peso de la corona te obliga a tomar decisiones y afrontar sus consecuencias. No se trata de tomar la mejor decisión, sino de elegir qué sacrificar.

On passe un bon moment et on s'attache aux personnages

Overall, the game is fun. My only gripe about this game is that no matter certain decisions you make for the best outcome, the game forces you to go with how the story flows. And it's way too short for its currently listed full price to the point it made me think the second game wouldn't be too different. Also, I felt the game was rushed at the end.

Amazing story, really fun characters and I love the art! It's really heartfelt and well written.

I was expecting a kingdom-management simulator, but what I got was a visual novel with a dull story and few choices, choices that don't really change much anyway. Choices that you can't afford anyway, because the king is a broke peasant.
