After beating this game here's my review. When I first played the game I had a problem trying to get the game on full screen making the screen not align properly. I played it without full screen and played it like that. In this game, you play a game that's similar to other Metriodvania games. In this game, you go around 4 planets getting upgrades to make it to the end of the game. When you play the game at first you'll have a hard time since you can easily get lost in it not knowing where to go. The game is pretty difficult when you go further. There are power-ups you can get but require different upgrades to get them. There's one for the upgrade of health and guns. There are other guns you can use to fit your play style. The upgrade that does the most damage is the most effective. If you die you have to go back to the last checkpoint or the last place you saved at. This game is pretty short and can be beaten pretty quickly but I don't recommend newcomers to retro games like this to play because of how hard it is. Get it when it's on sale since you can beat it pretty quickly and with a bundle since it's pretty cheap. I give this game an 8 out of 10. Have a good day.
Cute little metroidvania game. Only one thing that was totally not nice: You can mute the sfx, but there are still sfx that are not muted. Remarkable, that the game is from 2014 and it has not been fixed in 10 years. Yeah but the rest of the game is really nice. In the beginning it seemed a little bit difficult, but that was just the first impression. It became very relaxing very soon.

Poor saving systems can ruin games with this game being another example of that. But pairing that with literal oneshot mechanics, annoying enemies, spongey bosses and linear dead-end levels creates a uniquely frustrating experience. Enough so that i'm not even gonna sugarcoat the fact that i used cheat engine to beat this game. Making myself functionally invincible was the only way for me to get any form of enjoyment out of this game. In all fairness with this invincibilitiy i did enjoy some parts of the game, especially the traversal upgrades and movement mechanics. The game had some unique ideas like moving to and fro the background , which was pretty damn cool and used in some clever instances of level design. Unfortunately these levels were segmented into 4 seperate planets which made this metroidvania lack the interconnected world that defines MV's. At least the art was pretty cool although there's a lot of repition especially the bosses which are all recolours of the same model. Speaking of the model, the main character looks like an amogus (sus) but this game is from long before that. The music was fitting albeit uninspired and the story is pretty much nonexistant. At least it ran well and is cheap on sale so if you're either a massochist or know your way around cheat engine then you can consider this one. However in the default state without mods it's not a game worth playing even at such a low price.
I enjoyed this game so much. Granted I like Mutant Mudds Deluxe more but yeah I did like this game as well. Really glad I finally beated this game. I give this game 8/10. :)
This game was far more noteworthy on the 3DS during the Great Metroid Drought of 2007-2017, and indie Metroivanias have popped the frick off since this game was made, but it's cute, has its own personality, and while imperfect, still a good time overall if you're curious. The fixed jump height is annoying and can frame-lock you with some enemy projectile timings, and the Not-Charge-Beam is very underwhelming given it's immediately obsoleted by the next powerup, and the stupid fly things are WAY more annoying than they need to be. That's about all the major flaws. The Parameter Beam is the best idea this game brings to the table, and the ability to assign multiple presets is super cool. It's missing QoL features like sound volume settings, and muting sound effects doesn't mute sound effects from the layer you're not on. Again, this WAS a 3DS game.
Technically this is a pretty nice game, if you could play it. I enjoyed the game before it was broken, so if you manage to get it properly running.. It is good. I wanted to replay it in 2026 and my only working resolution was in 420x240/480x270 on a widescreen or a 16:9 monitor. It went through all possible combinations (2x, 3x, fullscreen off/on, aspect ratio etc.) , but nothing works. Only 1x scale (thats soooo tiny) is properly displaying the game correctly all else cuts out 2/3 of the game. Will change the review to positive once the developer fixes this issue.
Great game I wish it were Longer.
小品级类银,地图层级切换很有特色,但存档点只有boss战前后有,后期某种怪还会跨图追着你跑,这就有点恶心了
