WYRMHALL: Brush and Banter

A fun, nice little game and for the most part it was relaxing except for the special wand that was scary! haha would recommend, even more if on sale.

Absolutely delightful game, the artstyle is charming and efficient, the gameplay is simple but well made, and all the characters brings a whole universe to life with their individual stories. I played a whole run and will do another one to see the other endings. This game reminds me of Hades in a way. I've seen people criticize Hades because it "doesn't bring anything new to the genre", and it's true that in terms of game design, it doesn't have any gimmick or innovation to bring to the roguelike genre. It's a basic but well made roguelike. It does bring something massive to the genre though, and it's stories. plenty of characters with each their narrative arc, an actual plot, well written dialogs, etc. Video game is a powerful narrative art medium, and dismissing the story as an aside to the game is why we have so many very flashy but ultimately boring games. Wyrmhall is the same in that regards, it takes the basic gameplay of Trash Goblin, does it right without trying to have complex game mechanics, and actually make a story with all the clients. In Wyrmhall, the banter with the clients is integral part of the game, it's at least half of the time you spend playing. The actions you take in the gameplay part influence the dialog with the NPCs and vice versa. Some NPC are delightful, some are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, all are well written and interesting in their own way. I highly recommend this game and I'm looking forward to more game from Leafy Games!

Really glad I picked this one up! It's very simple cleaning and more about the cute story than anything else. You have to play it 2.5 times to get all the achievements, but I wasn't bored with it at all. You actually get pretty attached to the NPC and their brother, and there are like 6 different endings to the game as well. Super recommend for a wholesome cleaning/story experience that's super quirky. Finished? Yes Steam Achievements? Have to play 2.5 times, follow a guide. Steam Deck? Didn't try! Fun little game of cleaning random artifacts and meeting all kinds of characters. Very lighthearted, nice for some relaxing sessions, short and sweet.

Absolutely adore this game. Great sense of humour, good gameplay imo, interesting tree of choices, AND good value for money. I only wish it was longer. Devs if you see this I would pay 3x the regular price for an arcade-edition of the game AND I would owe you my life

The only downside to this game is also its biggest plus point - it's short and left me wanting more. More characters, more trick items to clean and unlock, more stories, more nonsense. And that's such a rarity now, because it does not outstay its welcome. The stories you encounter offer enough intrigue for you to be drawn into the world, and enjoy watching it pass by as you good gob (or bad gob) your way to the end. It's a great way to kill a couple of hours, and the need to replay the game to unlock the bad gob achievement is even quicker to get through, for anyone who wants the achievement but doesn't know if they have the attention span. It's incredibly cute and silly, and does everything advertised on the store page. If you enjoy sassy, light-hearted fun, this is only the price of a coffee, and the enjoyment you derive from it will last longer.

Изначально не думала, что игра мне понравится настолько сильно. В игре много концовок и событий, которые могут не произойти или пройти по другому в зависимости от выборов. Графика очень приятная, большое внимание уделено деталям. Каждый день недели декорации вокруг лавки и дома немного меняются. Английский простой и понятный. С удовольствием прошла ее несколько раз для получения всех достижений
