Wreck Runners

We hopped in and immediately spent a half hour just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with the mechanics and throwing each other off ledges before we even thought about what we're supposed to do. Simple, 10/10 game. Some of the best value I've ever gotten out of $9.99, I can't wait to see where the devs take it.

Great game that sets itself apart from others in a few key ways. These may either discourage or encourage you depending on what kind of gameplay you like. Personally I like slightly more laid back games, but I have some friends far more FPS focused who I would love to play it with because it fits their style much better. Active Combat: There is much more active combat. Unlike some others where it is more to your benefit to hide or run instead of fight, you are expected to fight the enemies and are given some pretty solid means to do so immediately. The weapons you can buy at the shop are quite strong. Gameplay Speed: You won't know it when you start, but the theme of this game is "go faster". Unlike other extraction games with either a hard stop or no timer at all, this one slowly scales difficulty based on how long you take. You decide when your round is over. There are ways to strategize for that, but the most important one is be fast. "Open World": The game has a weird mix of open world and closed game level. You're thrown into a huge place you don't reasonably have time to explore. There's even an underwater portion you can choose to interact with. It's more about finding the POIs, emptying them and getting out. There is very little explanation for the things you find but even seemingly insignificant wrecks can be hiding good loot in sneaky corners.
