What an awesome little game. This game, Balatro, and a few others (such as some Punkcake Delicieux games) really put on display just how effective visuals, audio, and other non-gameplay aspects of a game can be, for these simpler kinds of games. The gameplay, itself, is also great. Nothing too complex or out there, but an extremely well-done execution of a relatively simple idea. "Snake but with portals, enemies, score attack mechanics, and roguelike run-building" The only part I struggled with was taking a little bit of time to figure out how to navigate the various menus with the mouse disabled.
Nosebleed
truley a pioneer of the snakle roguelike genre. The sound design of this game is amazing, even just going through the menus is satisfying. The gameplay is easy to pick up at first, but leaves a high skill ceiling as the levels progress (or if you try to go for highscores!) if you enjoy gaming that is fun you need to play this game you WILL enjoy it.
