The series "World of Subways" features some of the most interesting Subway Routes of the world for the PC. Once again World of Subways 4 comes back to New York, perhaps the most exciting city in the world. The whole gaming world takes place in the 70ies/80ies and is created in its typical look.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great subway sim ! Maybe TSW Bakerloo is better and it layers into the new TSW5 WCML South, but this is up there with my other subway sims. There are new ones coming, but for now this is just great. Got it on sale today ... a good deal !
OK, I know that this game models the 1980s and that's before I was born. I heard that the subway was in a worse shape back then. The graphics aren't great; I love NYC and I feel like the model gives NYC a bad name because it looks so bad though it's true that some subway stations are gross. The humans look really creepy. The graphics are worse than those in Train Simulator Classic. The keyboard controls are unwieldy; too many things can only be controlled through the keyboard but not the mouse, which is annoying since I don't have a numpad so I changed many of the keys. I would rather just go ride the real 7 train, the slick R188, and look through the railfan window in the first car where I can take a peek of the cab though I can't see the cab clearly due to the diffraction in the window. I can at least see the screen showing speed and speed limits. I would rather go to the nostalgia rides in real life with the New York Transit Museum to ride vintage trains and look through the railfan window. If I want the experience of operating a subway train, I would rather play TSW's London Tube, with much better graphics and interactions.
