World of Shooting is a small-scale arcade shooter that focuses entirely on fast action, reflex-based gameplay, and simple survival mechanics. It does not attempt to compete with large modern shooters through cinematic storytelling, advanced graphics, or deep progression systems. Instead, the game embraces a much more straightforward arcade philosophy where players enter compact arenas, eliminate waves of enemies, unlock stronger weapons, and survive for as long as possible. The overall experience feels intentionally lightweight, almost like a classic arcade title designed for short bursts of gameplay rather than lengthy campaigns or complex long-term progression. The gameplay is extremely easy to understand from the moment it begins. Players control a small armed character while fighting increasingly aggressive enemies that attack from all directions. Movement is responsive and quick, allowing players to dodge incoming attacks while constantly repositioning around the arena. Combat revolves around maintaining mobility and eliminating enemies before they overwhelm the screen. The controls are simple and accessible, making the game approachable even for players unfamiliar with arcade shooters or bullet-heavy action games. One of the game’s stronger qualities is its pacing. Matches become chaotic very quickly as enemy numbers increase and attacks begin covering larger portions of the screen. The constant pressure creates a satisfying rhythm where survival depends heavily on fast reactions and maintaining awareness of enemy movement. Even though the mechanics themselves are relatively basic, the increasing intensity of later waves still manages to create genuinely tense moments where every movement matters. Weapon progression also helps keep the gameplay engaging for a while. As players continue fighting, they unlock stronger weapons and upgrades that significantly improve combat effectiveness. Some weapons focus on rapid-fire attacks and aggressive offense, while others prioritize crowd control or heavier damage output. Experimenting with different loadouts gives players some freedom to approach combat differently between runs, adding a moderate amount of replayability to the otherwise simple gameplay structure. The minimalist presentation works reasonably well within the game’s arcade-focused design. Visually, the game is clearly low-budget, but the clean arenas and readable enemy designs help maintain clarity during intense fights. Bright projectiles, explosions, and fast-moving enemies create enough visual chaos to make battles exciting without becoming impossible to follow. The interface remains simple and functional throughout the experience, allowing players to focus entirely on movement and shooting instead of managing complicated systems. The soundtrack and sound effects support the fast pacing effectively. Energetic background music helps maintain momentum during combat, while weapon sounds and enemy effects provide satisfying feedback during firefights. Although the audio design is not especially memorable, it complements the arcade atmosphere well enough to keep battles feeling active and engaging. Another advantage of World of Shooting is how well it works in shorter sessions. The game immediately throws players into action without requiring long tutorials or heavy preparation. It is easy to play for a few rounds, enjoy the chaos, and return later without feeling lost. This makes it appealing for players who want quick arcade entertainment rather than large-scale progression or narrative-focused gameplay. However, the game’s simplicity eventually becomes its biggest weakness. While the shooting mechanics remain enjoyable at first, the overall experience starts feeling repetitive after several hours because the gameplay rarely evolves in meaningful ways. Most stages revolve around surviving enemy waves inside similar arenas with only minor changes to enemy behavior or layout. Once players understand the core loop, there are very few surprises left to maintain long-term excitement. Enemy variety is also fairly limited. Many enemies behave similarly despite different appearances, and difficulty often increases through larger enemy counts and heavier projectile spam rather than genuinely creative encounter design. While this approach works for basic arcade action, it also causes later stages to feel repetitive instead of strategically interesting. The progression systems are similarly shallow compared to larger shooters. Unlocking weapons and upgrades adds some incentive to continue playing, but there are not enough customization options or gameplay-changing systems to create long-term depth. Players hoping for extensive build experimentation or evolving mechanics may find the experience too limited after extended play. Presentation quality can also feel rough around the edges. Animations are basic, environments lack strong visual variety, and the overall production value remains fairly modest throughout the entire experience. While these issues do not completely damage the gameplay, they reinforce the feeling that the game is a smaller indie project rather than a fully polished arcade shooter. Despite these flaws, World of Shooting succeeds because it remains focused on delivering simple and immediate arcade action without unnecessary complications. The combat is responsive, the pacing stays energetic, and the gameplay loop works well for players looking for quick reflex-based shooting sessions. It may not offer enough depth to compete with larger modern shooters, but it still provides a decent amount of entertainment within its limited scope. For players who enjoy lightweight arcade shooters and wave-based survival games, World of Shooting offers a straightforward and accessible experience that works best in short play sessions. It lacks variety and long-term depth, but its fast combat and easy-to-understand mechanics still make it a fun little indie shooter for fans of classic arcade-style gameplay. Rating: 7/10

I really like this game, and I actually do recommend it. As long as you have more money to spend on it than You'd spend on a normal game. I wish this was just a full priced normal game without all the micro-transactions because then I'd actually have a ton of fun with it. Instead, it is a micro-transaction game that leverages that to charge way more than any normal game is worth. Expect to be extremely limited in what you can do or unlock unless you're willing to pay way more than AAA game prices. Message to the devs: Get rid of this stupid greedy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and just charge us for the game you've made and leave it at that.
