Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

quien hubiera dicho que la mejor adaptación de Junji Ito seria un juego indie que no adapta realmente su obra.
One of the most unique gaming experiences I've ever had! the art style, music and presentation are stellar here, while also offering some of the most addicting rogue-lite gameplay. Currently one of my favorite games on steam, easy recommend.

unfinished game - the real horror is the UI design
Lovecraftian, pixel-art, procedural JRPG turn-based horror game. If you thought you'd just feel scared or get an unsettling vibe, think again—World of Horror will truly terrify you, immersing you in Japanese folklore influenced by H.P. Lovecraft and heavily inspired by Junji Ito. This game is truly a gem that I believe everyone should experience. While I understand that the themes, horror elements, and gameplay may not appeal to everyone, those who enjoy these aspects will undoubtedly love this title.
Games released to 1.0 without being finished are more scary than anything they could put in this Edit (Four days later): Never ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mind
Me when I call up the death modem, say no, and get my number banned for life. For real though, I got this game originally on my switch and bought it again so I can play with mods and experience the game how it was actually meant to be played: on desktop. It's a fantastic game, with the brutal difficulty making every fight feel like it could be your last, which is fitting considering none of the characters are really all that well-equipped for the supernatural. Like others have said before, the horror is a little lackluster, but that comes from it being a point-and-click roguelike; While the game does fantastic with what it has, the gameplay stops it from being able to give the buildup that its Junji Ito "full spread" moments deserve. Still, it's a very fun game and looks phenomenally creepy, plus it still is effective at giving the player a hearty sense of anxiety when the going gets rough. Seriously, my last run ended with me having 3 stamina, 4 reason, on the second floor of an extended lighthouse, all because my doom meter got to max, try as I might to stop it, and THAT build-up was phenomenal. Sure, each individual encounter card might not send chills up your spine, but know that SOMETHING TRULY EVIL HAS YOU IN ITS GRASP when you play this game!
should've gotten it at a discount, probably will never be finished
Honestly a fantastic roguelike that carries that Ito style pretty well. What it lacks in abundance it makes up for in quality art, music and gameplay. NOT FOR EVERYONE. But if it tickles your fancy than I would definitely recommend it.
boomer coded but ABSOLUTELY a GAME GAME
An extremely unique modern version of a type of game that hasn't existed for a long time. Junji itto / lovecraft simulator. You need to be the type of person who likes to read, hope that's obvious. Feels like being able to live and explore a short story and get to the bottom of mysteries. I was on the fence about the run-based rougelike thing that asks you to replay MYSTERIES, which seems like an impossible and stupid idea, but it works and I never found it boring because playing through multiple times lets you explore different paths so you can learn more about the story. Maybe it isn't something you can play for 100 hours but each case individually is short enough so they don't overstay their welcome, again like a lovecraft or junji itto one-shot. It's a 10/10 for me and deserves overwhelmingly positive in my opinion. People are complaining about it 'having potential but being abandoned' bro just let a game be done and over with. Or 'ignoring the community'. I'm sorry but paying fifteen dollars for a product doesn't create an obligation for the creator to respond to people complaining when they have better things to do. You can't ask someone to keep working on the same game for ten years. People are complaining in 2025 that it hasn't changed since 1.0 which was two years ago. I'd rather they work on the next game. I don't care if they said there would be more updates. It's great the way it is right now and that's what's important. It isn't extremely buggy or janky, it's ONLY the amount of content they're talking about. There are seven different cases, there are several different endings for each and many ways to approach. The fact that people are complaining about there not being more content than there was the last time they played should tell you that those negative reviews are actually positive, because people liked what is there so much that they were motivated to complain that there isn't more to play. Worth the money for the quality of content. It's like buying a junji itto book. You're gonna buy it on sale anyway, everyone does.
