Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

a game with a lot of potential but abandoned
Just check the update history and you'll see the game seems to literally exist solely to shill shoddy merch now for some bizarre reason. There's some debate whether or not the original creator is still involved at all, but regardless, I'd argue the game is only mostly finished as is. I cannot recommend World of Horror unless you badly want a slow drip feed of half-baked merch.

by all accounts unfinished, as you can see by my playtime i haven't touched this much, this review is just make people aware that the dev follows right wing grifters on twitter
Just look at the last two updates. Some people are trying to defend the guy, but I doubt a guy who has stolen art from other games and websites and thrown them through an ASCI art generator is past dumping out merch for a game he left for dead.
Listen I'm not saying it's a good idea I'm just saying the scissors woman is kinda hot that's all
The style is very striking but that's the only positive thing I can say about the game. World of Horror is designed very poorly as far as games go; the combat is confusing in my opinion and is very weird, very overwhelming, and really boring at the end of the day. Not worth your money, especially since this game isn't being worked on or fixed any time soon
Love the game but five years of beta? c'mon is it even a beta anymore?
Been playing on and off since Early Access and had high hopes and enjoyed it for a while but every year dev failed to give meaningful updateS. It's 2025 dev has no other known projects and cannot finish a pixel game that has been in development since before 2020. SHAMEFUL
its a good game, i understand where the hate comes from about overpriced merch and the last big update was about 2 years ago but in my opinion its unwarranted especially from a dev that made this by them self in mspaint. They brought the game to switch and made the game open sourced for modding which means endless amounts of content. 20$ really isnt a lot compared to the amount of A tier content this love letter to junji ito of a game gives. 8-9/10 theres no game like this highly recommend.
