Ads If the x in the ads get any smaller I’m going to have to uninstall the game. They are barely clickable.

Too many distractions With every single click, there’s an ad or other ridiculous popup, many of which come without a way to X out. Insane that people are able to play a full game through this garbage.

Ad overload The app itself is constantly trying to distract with other flashy and moving buttons. The ads are incessant. Every single move you have to watch an ad. The app also gives a lot of unnecessary push notifications. Ruined the game. I’m sure the developer with respond with the same generic response as it does with all the other similar complaints.

Fun game, frustrating app I’ve been using this app for years, and I have to be honest, there’s more to dislike than to like. There are times where I feel this app, whose CEO is a millionaire and whose top developers make a high 5-6 figures a year, find it okay to consistently inconvenience and frustrate their players for a few extra dollars despite their fanbase begging them to make changes. I love playing this game w my friends and with real people, but if the app is going to dedicate half of its UI and development to non-social games, they should at least make them playable. The solo games are where it truly feels like a scam sometimes. The expert games are truly impossible; the app will routinely give you zero vowels, leaving a single move possible on the board for very little points that will guarantee you fall behind and lose, making you wait hours again for the tickets to refill in an effort to get you to pay for more coins/tickets or get you to watch more ads. Conveniently, the ads you have to watch to get more tickets are the only ads that don’t load consistently — the app has no trouble at all loading ads in between every round of other games at the same time. Even when you do wait the full time for your tickets, the app consistently glitches and says you still have zero tickets after full days of not being on the app, with no way of fixing it other than to pay to refill or to wait longer, making it less likely that you’ll complete the entire run of solo challenges and get the prizes (again, very convenient for the app as it gives players less free ways to refill tickets and have boosts to win solo challenges!). The ads also slow down my phone significantly, and it’s only when I’ve paid to temporarily pause them on my phone — which is also a scam, why would I have to pay the same amount I would for a streaming service for a single month of no ads, I understand there are extra perks with it but that doesn’t justify a Hulu-level price — that the app has run smoothly. I truly feel like I spend more time watching ads than I do playing the games. I want to love this app, since the games with my friends themselves are fun and the solo challenges are a fun way of improving my skills, and I understand that the lower level employees whose job it is to read these reviews are likely not at fault for these issues. I understand it takes a lot to keep an app running, but to ignore and brush off the thousands of reviews saying that the ads are ridiculous and that the amount of obvious grabs for money that this app inconveniences the players for, is very much indicative of a corporation that doesn’t care about its consumer base. This review will likely be buried, removed, or simply responded to with a vague apology by an AI bot or an employee who isn’t paid enough and won’t be listened to if they bring it up (or, most likely, not approved to be posted at all!) but after months of frustration I had to leave this review. Thanks for your time and I hope you take at least some of this into consideration.

Zynga’s Greedy! I’ve been playing this game for over a decade but over the past couple years, not only have bonuses and coins become less likely to be earned rather than purchased but now, ads are popping up in the middle of a move rather than afterwards. This takes my focus and is frustrating. Anything for these developers to make more money… even if they sacrifice the gaming experience.

Ads The adds do not run properly and waste way too much time. You have to x out 5-10 times before it works and sometimes it freezes and I have to restart the whole phone.

COINS This was better when you could EARN more coins rather than having to pay for them.

Islam push Seems WWF’s has jumped on the bandwagon and is pushing Islam, pay attention people.

Diabolical ads I understand playing an ad, or showing an ad, right, but indefinite ads that require interaction/“playing” the ad is just next level. There’s no x that pops up despite waiting over 60 seconds, tapping reveals nothing, it only shows whatever silly goals the new ad dictates. Cannot believe this is the end state of mobile gaming. Installed and uninstalled within fifteen minutes. No thanks.

Although I love the concept of this game and play it often, the endless ads and slow server load mak E it so annoying to play.
