About
Wizard Shrimp™ is a bullet-hell, roguelite game where you play as a Shrimp who is inexplicably also a Wizard?!
Battle your way out of a slimy swamp, escape amethyst caves, before climbing the Mushroom Wizard's Tower to defeat the final boss.
Collect upgrades and power ups along your quest to become the most powerful Shrimp this world has ever seen!
Gain Krill points to power up your Shrimp and take on the game at harder difficulties in the Cauldron!
Pixel art graphics are accompanied by a modern soundtrack that mixes digital and analogue sounds, embracing naturalistic samples.
Choose your own path out of each area with a unique randomly generated tile system. Leverage your tiles to your tactical advantage by putting a campfire after an enemy encounter. Or say "f*** it" and put down only enemy tiles up until the boss, gaining the most amount of power possible but with a higher risk of death!

v fun i love the black hole so op hehehe can't believe a shirmp wizarded this game
Saw people hating on this on social media, jokes on them, the clips just made me want to play ☆(>ᴗ•) Really charming and cute roguelite with a lot of love put into it! Fairly simple game play, click to attack, upgrades, special upgrades, etc. Doesn't take too long to become kind of OP but the replayability is still there! For $5.99 you get your moneys worth. Totally recommend if you like roguelike/roguelite games.
you're telling me a wizard'd this shrimp?

Don't get me wrong, I love this game. It has soul, it's fun to roll around, and I love the premise. My only issue is that during the tile laying phase, the sound of all the tiles being placed at once is an unskippable sensory nightmare. Very minor issue, I know.
Voice acting is A+ Love the hat choices Long live Wizard Shrimp

Amazing game. best 1 dollar and 59 cents i spent. beat it after 15 tries and loved every part safe to say im expecting more updates for this lovely lil game :3
I really like this game, but for some reason I can't open the path (taking the option after an encounter) without locking myself out of gameplay. I got stuck halfway through Tower, and when I tried to continue, I couldn't. As you can imagine, my solution of closing the game not only ended my run, but robbed me of any Krill points. Very upsetting.
The game was fun but after the first few playthroughs, the replayability falls off drastically; I thought the concept is really cute and fun but in practice the enemy variety is really lacking. I also feel like the abilities quickly become unbalanced and I'm able to just sit in a corner and beat each level and boss with ease.
Alright, buckle up buttercup, because Wizard Shrimp is about to shrimp-ly blow your mind! Forget everything you thought you knew about RPGs, because this game is a whole new kettle of, well, shrimp! The graphics? Chef's kiss. The story? More twists than a pretzel factory. And the gameplay? Let's just say my fingers are now trained Olympic athletes. Seriously, I haven't been this hooked since... well, since I discovered sliced bread. The characters are hilarious, the world is immersive, and the combat is so satisfying, you'll be throwing shrimp-shaped victory dances. And speaking of combat... let's just say there's a certain gargoyle encounter that will leave you... moist. (No spoilers, but trust me, you'll know it when you see it. Let's just say it's a real "splash" hit.) Honestly, if you're not playing Wizard Shrimp, you're missing out on the shrimp-tastic adventure of a lifetime. 10/10, would shrimp again. 🎉
