About
Wizard's Oblation is a co-op game about cultist wizards who inhabit a hand-drawn world and worship the Bottomless Pit—within which an unimaginable horror lurks.
To avoid its wrath, the mages must offer up magical artifacts. To find them, they open portals to random, perilous locations teeming with magical creatures.
Every artifact you discover is a choice:
Cast a powerful spell, destroying the artifact.
Throw it into the Pit, receiving a sphere of pure magic you can use again and again—as long as you have mana.
Trade it to merchants for gold coins.
The Pit accepts gold coins without hesitation, too—but it gives nothing in return.
Gather enough offerings—and you’d better not find out what happens if the Pit is left hungry.

Game is so fun, cannot wait for the future updates! The animation style is great and the core of the game is very fun, there are a few things I'd love to see added to this game. It has a bunch of potential.
The core of the game: Go in blind -> Get ganged up on by goblins and jumpscared by a job application -> Grab a spell and a light bulb -> Go back -> Return as the literal Doom Guy -> hit by my own spell -> Died. Rating: I need a flashlight or that lightbulb spell / 10
Played for about an hour, got the hang of the game. Current version doesn't have a lot of hand-holding, so you'll have to figure it out. I'm the kind of player that solos Lethal Company and REPO so I enjoy the grind, but would suggest the devs have an easier mode with increased vision radius in future builds or other accommodations for the less sweaty players. Pros: I like the duo-tone art style and 2d feel to the game. I like it a whole lot Cons: like other games of its genre, you'll need friends to play along with. Solos not recommended.

This is a great game to play with friends. Its light on storage, but expansive in its simplicity. The goal of the game is you (and your friends) are wizards trying to sacrifice artifacts from strange domains. AKA you go through a portal to weird places and pick up everything you see to sacrifice to the great eyeball. What sets this apart from other "friendslop" games is that these artifacts you sacrifice turn into spells that can be used to better traverse the zones, and fight back against the enemies youll encounter. in a pinch you can also throw the artifacts at the enemies to have a one-time use of the spell. This is sometimes necessary as some of the enemies can be tough to navigate around without killing. Some enemies you'll find : a literal serial killer with a knife that goes CRAZY when it sees you, a standard 2 year old baby, a sad pitiful man laying on the ground that you should totally walk right next to, and a job application. While there are some additions i would like to see, this game is fantastic. absolutely get it for you and your buddies.
It took a hot minute to figure out how things worked, but that ended up being half of the fun. The style is really fun, and the enemies and maps are all so fun to navigate and learn about. This game is genuinely such a gem, and super fun with friends. Be ready to experiment and figure stuff out for awhile, but its very worth sticking it out!
意义不明 没有指引和地图 地图很大 道具有限 怪物碰一下就死 毫无游戏体验
I've only played the single player version of the game for just under an hour but I think I can give it a decent enough review. I'm going to recommend this only to people that will end up playing with friends because I believe thats where its really going to shine even with what I feel like it lacks. This is mostly a feedback review in hopes that the developed continues working on it because I believe it has a lot of potential. Pros: - The art style is superb. I truly enjoy it and it's the biggest reason I got it. I love the look of this game from top to bottom. - The items you pick up are definitely fun and diverse. I didn't expect what the train would do, even though I should've guessed, but I laughed pretty hard when I used it. Cons: - No background music. I felt like I had a significant amount of downtime navigating the maps and just heard myself walking when some form of background music or sound effects would have made it a much more enjoyable experience. - No compass. I felt like I had to look at the map the entire time and wasn't actually looking where I was going except for the first few minutes of playing the game. It would be nice to be able to navigate without having to constantly be staring at the map. I can also understand why there wouldn't be a compass but with how much of a maze each map is, there's no real way to feasibly remember the way to and from places without a significant amount of experience playing the maps. - I know this is going to sound a little contradictory to my compass feedback but since I mentioned maps, it would be nice if the map could be potentially moved or made it so that I can manually bring it up to the center of the screen, it be a bit transparent so you can still see where you're going and navigate it that way. If that's not a direction they would want to go, I think at least making it so I can zoom in/out on the map a bit or have at least the player icon a bit brighter/bigger. It got a bit hard to keep track of it at times. Right now the game feels quite boring to play by yourself but I can imagine it being a blast for a bit playing with friends. Hopefully this helps
