Jesse has done it again! been waiting for this game since I saw the trailer and it did take me this long to play but man, what a trip! Jesse's games always have a way of getting under your skin (in a good way and in a few bad ways haha) without a dawn may be a short game but it doesn't mean it's not such a fun and well worth it experience. Highly recommend this game and his other games. I'll be looking forward to the next project!

Mas que un juego, lo catalogaría como une experiencia, rollo Milk Inside A Bag Of Milk. Visualmente es precioso, y aunque me esperaba un juego mas como Distraint o Afterdream, me ha gustado la experiencia, además que algún sobresalto me he llevado.

Quite interesting artsy narrative psychological horror game with some really evocative writing and visuals. Pretty short (about 1 hour, played it twice). Pretty nice graphical design with a nice pseudo-ASCII-art filter, and very nice sound design. Don't have much else to say, except that the content warning was needed.
Atmosphärisch, kurzweilig und sehr unterhaltsam. Visuell außergewöhnlich passend gestaltet. Besonders der ASCII-Effekt fügt sich hervorragend in die Traumsequenzen ein und spiegelt die Verzerrtheit der Gedanken der Protagonistin wider. Dadurch entsteht eine ganz eigene, teilweise verstörende Atmosphäre, die hervorragend zur Geschichte passt.
Compré este juego hace aproximadamente 2 meses, a la par de el también compré los 2 Distraints, mí idea era en un principio poder explorar este género del "terror psicólogico" y ver si realmente me generaban algo. He de decir que Without A Dawn me sorprendió gratamente. No voy a exagerar ni enaltecer demasiado el juego, es por eso que lo primero que tengo que decir es que no es un juego para todos, no para el jugador promedio por lo menos. Está más cercano a ser una breve película a qué un juego. Without A Dawn cuenta una historia corta, breve, pero que logra mantenerte pegado a ella durante su totalidad. Reconozco que a pesar de tratar temas profundos su historia no es complicada de seguir y menos de comprender, aunque aún así te deja con el culo lleno de preguntas. Aún breve y simple, el juego cumple con lo que buscaba experimentar en este género, el sentir algo. Es increíble como a pesar de únicamente hacer uso de una tecla y seguir una historia lineal prácticamente, el juego puede hacerte sentir tensión, relajación, generarte dudas, jugar con tu respiración, y demás. En ese sentido, este juego es arte. Si apartado artístico tampoco queda atrás, aunque no puedo opinar demasiado sobre esto puesto que no soy un experto en la materia. Recomiendo jugar esta historia de noche, en silencio y en lo posible con auriculares y la habitación a oscuras. De esta forma, ese juego se convierte en una experiencia memorable.
