Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a short retro backrooms experience. The square resolution with black bars on the side of the screen takes a little to get used to, but it's not that bad. It took me around 3 hours to 100% (I'm slow at games). No jumpscares or evil monsters, it's all about the environment and atmosphere. You explore different liminal spaces and find doorways to other places, as well as floppy disks. These spaces are really cool, and the music is really good and haunting. The areas are simple mazes with some stuff to see and secrets to find. You'll find some items that allow you to unlock new paths too. Theese mazes are all connected through doorways that will bring you to another one. But they don't have a linear order, you just jump around from maze to maze, which is some sort of maze itself. Each floppy disk you find will grant you a different ending once you insert them in the computer at "The End". It's fun to hunt fot achievements, but be aware, the game will reset if you load it after each ending. So if you collected several floppy disks and are at "The End", just Alt F4 after each ending achievement and open the game again, so that you can insert the other disks and get the other endings. Also, be careful to not get to "The End" before you collect all floppy disks, because it seems like you have to restart if you want to collect the rest. (Tip:
You get to "The End" by jumping down a hole on the floor in the "Poolrooms".
) Furthermore, I think you can lock yourself out of some areas if you explore another place first, so be careful with which path you take. (Example:
I couldn't find any way to get to the "Mall" if you go to the "Playrooms" first.
) These things that I listed in the previous paragraph are quite annoying and can force you to restart the game if you mess them up and want all achievements. But even then, I think the game is quite enjoyable, the locations are cool, and the retro-style adds a nice vibe to these liminal spaces. Just try one playthrough on your own, and use a guide if you want all achievements, or else you might need to restart a lot.

This game shouldn't carry the name "backrooms", because it's not a backrooms game at all.
I don't say this because it doesn't have monsters (actually, that's a very positive point), but because it lacks that 'terror of being lost in infinity'. It's a linear game full of invisible walls with simple, yet time-consuming puzzles and very finite, small, and limited levels. Within The Backrooms is basically a tiktok dreamcore/weirdcore with pretty mediocre code, especially when it comes to 'quality of life'... The price is low, which makes sense. It's at best acceptable, but you should never confuse simplicity with something poorly made. It has its charm, but it's not for me.

Genuinely one of, if not my least favorite Backrooms experience so far... boring, empty, confusing, & hard to look at. I genuinely got a headache from playing this.
i 100% it after a few hours and HOLY this was THE best experience i have EVER had with backrooms, i love the idea of it never being about the entities and when there actually are, theyre just chill, thank you for making a game like this!
It had a cool aesthetic too it and it was interesting to explore the levels but I feel like the levels are too finite other than that even though there werent hostile entities it was a good game id love a sequel, prequel or more levels
This game is a masterpiece, It is how i believe the backrooms should be. I 100% Recommend It provides hour's of playtime (Many different endings)
