Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 46.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Witchfire is a single-player RPG shooter from the creative minds behind Painkiller and Bulletstorm. Embark on perilous expeditions, vanquishing foes to enhance your powers and arsenal. Scavenge valuable resources and retreat to your sanctuary, or push your luck by confronting Familiars— the powerful guardians of the witch.

Skill and knowledge are essential for success against the Witch of the Black Sea and her witchfire-fueled army. If you die, return to the battlefield for a one-time chance to reclaim what you lost, or attack again with a new plan.

Explore vast, immersive biomes and choose your battleground to confront the witch's forces. Each completed encounter strengthens you and your arsenal through the roguelite system called Arcana. There are countless ways to build your preyer and dominate the witch.

Only the most wicked sinners are transformed into preyers, undead assassins sustained by witchfire flowing through their veins. In the base of operations known as the Hermitory, you can choose from a wide selection of distinctive weapons, spells, and artifacts to build your own preyer.

On each expedition, you can extract your looted items or, if you feel confident, confront the witch’s Familiar to unlock new areas and powerful items and upgrades.

Piece together a story from the past to save the future. Investigate ships crashing on the verge of the witch’s land and locate the artifact that can tip the scales in the ongoing war between the Church and the witches.

During the Early Access period, Witchfire will undergo changes, including new areas, enemies, weapons, and tools of destruction. Help us shape the game to reach its full potential!

I hate the fact that the only way to unlock new maps, spells or weapons is to upgrade gnosis, which makes this game even harder. It feels unforgiving. TLDR: it's literally a solo Far Far West, but for boring people who enjoy tedious game process.

şu sıralar oynadığım en iyi oyun falan herhalde.
Destiny if it didn't hate you.
honestly its a very, VERY solid game, think destiny if it was a souls like, and a roguelite, and set in a catholic horror setting and with elements of extractions... but not in the bad way... Again i will go back to comparisons to destiny as its both the game im most comfortable with (thats what led me to trying this game in the first place) and openly acknowledged by the devs of witchfire as a source of inspiration. so, the gun play? Brilliant. guns feel good to use whether its a long ranged rifle that feels powerful, a close range handcannon which feels punchy or an auto rifle that makes you feel like doomslayer each and every gun not only feels unique and different but plays substantially different too and youre almost guaranteed to find something that suits how you like to play. let me just touch on the guns some more as i feel like this is where the game excels, so, i mentioned before they all feel different, i dont mean cod m4a1 to acr different i mean they feel destiny thorn to one thousand voices different, every gun feels like it could be a destiny exotic, at base level you wont notice too much outside of the overall feel of the guns, but the guns work on a levelling system that makes you use its newest trait in order to continue ranking it up to unlock its 3rd and final stage, not only does this lead to substantial power spikes between each level, it also encourages you to learn how to play with the gun and really lean into its playstyle to get the most out of it, whether its spreading elemental effects to a big crowd of enemies, whether its dealing large collateral aoe damage with a rifle, landing perfectly timed shots and reloads or whether youre the kind of player where you know youll need an extra hit protection because you like to get in amongst it or have just had a long day at work theres something you can use to build around, and that leads me to my next point, building your loadout upon initial launch of the game it will ask you to pick your class... as best i can tell its irrelevant, shame as i feel with some distinct variation it could add a lot of replayability value, but thats where the criticism of the building system ends as its all smooth sailing from here on out, the game is very confident in its identity, it knows what it is and it knows the setting of its world and plays into it beautifully, and as such your character can equip beads to a rosary... necklace? chain? dont know what they are honestly but thats no doubt ignorance on my part, regardless, these beads function as perks and can be swapped out at any time, you unlock more slots the further into the game you progress and can find beads in various places, however you cant just throw any bead on as you see fit, instead youll have to allocate your skill points accordingly as you need certain pre requisits to even equip the beads and these can do anything from give you extra ammo and elixirs (healing, of which theres a limited supply per run, therefore quite valuable) to increasing the benefit of elixirs, giving you higher chances to proc effects etc. but your loadout doesnt just consist of guns and rosary beads, theres also spells and melee abilities, rings and... we'll just call them trinkets, these all alter build possibilities and in turn the way you can choose to play the game, i wont divulge too much as i dont want to talk anyone who might read this out of playing around but these are honestly really integral to how youll play, again, these all vary substantially and just like the guns, they unlock further effects with each rank, such as saving you from death or chaining elements between enemies to maximise damage so i would encourage anyone to play around with anything and everything they get their hands on and level them up to the max as thats where they really shine the next thing i want to shine some light on is the actual gameplay itself, like i said above the gunplay is honestly very reminiscent of destiny, and for anyone who doesnt know what hat means, thats about as high of a compliment as you can receive, seeing as its a shooter thats something you need to get right, and these guys nailed it. but it doesnt just stop there its also very roguelite in nature, i feel like this is something i should have mentioned earlier but i am now and you know what? it works very well, youve got multiple categories of actual in game perks to choose from with each area on the map that you clear enemies out of, and in the end game you can even alter which perk pool you get at each level of your roguelite progression however it is worth mentioning that this resets each run and youre very unlikely to get the same perk selection twice as there is a large variety available in each pool, but you can tailor your category selections at the end game so lets say you want to play more spell based, or effect based, elemental based or gun based, or even just wanted better general survivability, you can tailor it to however you want to play, but again, that is only at the end game, which honestly? as it should be, this is just another example of something witchfire does right speaking of witchfire thats your basic 'currency' in the game, you use it for workshopping gear, upgrading gear, levelling up your character, anything really, value wise its actually really well balanced throughout and you very rarely find yourself having too much to the point you overlevel and steamroll everything nor do you find yourself skint to the point of being hard stuck at any section, you accrue the currency just by completing objectives and extracting successfully, failing to do so and dying will lead to you losing it all as you cant bank it. ill be honest outside of one or two certain areas the difficulty doesnt really change that much, this is stated in game when you progress your gnosis so it is clearly an intended decision, and on one hand it stops the game grinding to an unnecessary halt where everything turns into a bullet sponge, but on the other it would be nice to see the enemies ai change to work for better positioning or become more aggressive etc, i wont pretend to know if thats something that can be implemented, im not a dev, theyve done a really good job already but i wouldnt mind a slight bit more of a challenge in certain areas so losing witchfire tends not to be too much of an issue the game also has a few other mechanics that are kind of tied to eachother, madness which will eviscerate your health over time and lave you one tap if you cant end it, its not too difficult... if youre ready for it, unfortunately it can come at the absolute worst time in the world such as when youre fighting a boss, this can happen from any number of things that you do in game to directly influence your curse meter, when your curse is full any number of things can happen, which i wont spoil but its actually quite cool to see the first time it happens but once your curse bar is full youll continuously gain madness with no way to cure it until youve completed the world event, this can be easier or harder than it sounds depends how (un)lucky you get and as far as my last bit of criticism goes? and honestly, its kind of not fair for me to include this because it isnt really these guys fault but god i wish it was multiplayer, though that likely comes from my time spent on destiny so take that with a pinch of salt, matter of fact take every bit of criticism ive had so far with a pinch of salt, this game is in early access and is honestly amazing theres honestly so much more but ive been writing this review for over half an hour, ive tried to leave it as honest as possible, the criticism included is honestly everything i can criticise, the good points? id be here all day if i was trying to list them all, id honestly just have to say give it a go for yourself and see what you think, its a safe bet as far as your money is concerned, if you like any part at all what ive said so far then youll like this game
Absolute gem of a game. This maybe the closest thing to my Van helsing, witch slaying, demon hunting fantasy ever. This game puts some AAA games to shame with the amount of content, atmosphere and gameplay variety present here. There so many builds to try, a good selection of guns and tons of other accessories that can make each run different, and I have only unlocked like a few of them. The game is brutal, hard and punishing but also fair, balanced and so much fun and satisfying when you finally beat that boss or clear that vault. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves dark-souls and brialliant gun play. 10/10.
