Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 46.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Witchfire is a single-player RPG shooter from the creative minds behind Painkiller and Bulletstorm. Embark on perilous expeditions, vanquishing foes to enhance your powers and arsenal. Scavenge valuable resources and retreat to your sanctuary, or push your luck by confronting Familiars— the powerful guardians of the witch.

Skill and knowledge are essential for success against the Witch of the Black Sea and her witchfire-fueled army. If you die, return to the battlefield for a one-time chance to reclaim what you lost, or attack again with a new plan.

Explore vast, immersive biomes and choose your battleground to confront the witch's forces. Each completed encounter strengthens you and your arsenal through the roguelite system called Arcana. There are countless ways to build your preyer and dominate the witch.

Only the most wicked sinners are transformed into preyers, undead assassins sustained by witchfire flowing through their veins. In the base of operations known as the Hermitory, you can choose from a wide selection of distinctive weapons, spells, and artifacts to build your own preyer.

On each expedition, you can extract your looted items or, if you feel confident, confront the witch’s Familiar to unlock new areas and powerful items and upgrades.

Piece together a story from the past to save the future. Investigate ships crashing on the verge of the witch’s land and locate the artifact that can tip the scales in the ongoing war between the Church and the witches.

During the Early Access period, Witchfire will undergo changes, including new areas, enemies, weapons, and tools of destruction. Help us shape the game to reach its full potential!

Witchfire is one of those rare games that feels genuinely original, especially in the way it builds its dark fantasy world. The combination of witch hunters, occult mythology, strange creatures, and an almost surreal interpretation of European folklore gives the setting a very distinct identity. What I appreciate most is how coherent everything feels, with the visual design, enemies, locations, weapons, and lore all contributing to the same world. The narrative is not simply thrown at you through endless cutscenes, but gradually emerges through exploration, environmental details, dialogue, and fragments of lore, making the world feel like something you are actually discovering. The recent Revelations update has also expanded this aspect considerably, adding new areas, NPC interactions, story quests, and a stronger narrative foundation for the eventual 1.0 release. The shooting itself is excellent, with responsive movement and weapons that make every encounter feel satisfying. The roguelite progression adds another layer of strategy, encouraging experimentation with different builds and making every expedition feel meaningful. I also have to give a lot of credit to The Astronauts, the Polish studio behind the game, for how consistently they have been developing and expanding their vision rather than rushing it out the door. They are a small independent team from Warsaw, yet Witchfire has already grown substantially through major updates, with the studio continuing to refine balance, performance, content, and the game's narrative. Witchfire still has some Early Access rough edges, but the foundation is incredibly strong and the direction is clear. It is a game with a genuinely distinctive identity, and I'm very curious to see where The Astronauts take it by the time it reaches 1.0.
Очень честная игра
absolutely fantastic, progression changes the game substantially and feels tangible. GREAT gunplay, im talking some of the best gunplay in an FPS I have ever had. if anything about a gritty dark fantasy with magic and sick ass old guns intrigues you, pick this game up. 10/10
An extremely well polished hidden gem of a shooter with some of the most unique guns I have seen in a game(Hypnosis being one of my favorites in any game now.) This game deserves more recognition and a huge success when it hits 1.0
very enjoyable highly recommend
Can't wait to be able to face the Witch when 1.0 releases. This game has been the best surprise for me this year, bought it on a whim because it looked cool and was not disappointed. Witchfire is an incredible blend of mutiple genres that the devs have managed to mesh perfectly. Doomesque FPS, Souls Like atmosphere and difficulty coupled with extraction shooters and rogue-like elements. It is unique and challenging, even frustrating at times, but if you persevere it gets extremely satisfying when you understand how to properly set-up your loadouts and how the four elements synergize with each other. Seriously, if you like high action packed FPS with a Souls like direction, give Witchfire a try, I don't think you'll find anything like this game out there.
that witch do be fire
