Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 46.71/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Witchfire is a single-player RPG shooter from the creative minds behind Painkiller and Bulletstorm. Embark on perilous expeditions, vanquishing foes to enhance your powers and arsenal. Scavenge valuable resources and retreat to your sanctuary, or push your luck by confronting Familiars— the powerful guardians of the witch.

Skill and knowledge are essential for success against the Witch of the Black Sea and her witchfire-fueled army. If you die, return to the battlefield for a one-time chance to reclaim what you lost, or attack again with a new plan.

Explore vast, immersive biomes and choose your battleground to confront the witch's forces. Each completed encounter strengthens you and your arsenal through the roguelite system called Arcana. There are countless ways to build your preyer and dominate the witch.

Only the most wicked sinners are transformed into preyers, undead assassins sustained by witchfire flowing through their veins. In the base of operations known as the Hermitory, you can choose from a wide selection of distinctive weapons, spells, and artifacts to build your own preyer.

On each expedition, you can extract your looted items or, if you feel confident, confront the witch’s Familiar to unlock new areas and powerful items and upgrades.

Piece together a story from the past to save the future. Investigate ships crashing on the verge of the witch’s land and locate the artifact that can tip the scales in the ongoing war between the Church and the witches.

During the Early Access period, Witchfire will undergo changes, including new areas, enemies, weapons, and tools of destruction. Help us shape the game to reach its full potential!

Super fun game, don't like how it feels the need to spawn mobs right on top of you.

This game is EVERYTHING a game should be, reminds me of the smoothness of bioshock for a small group who designed this, which I believe are freemasons by the sybolism on the front screen , as a mystic I love this game has claire obscure 33 vibes, but sits in its own place many options and for 30.00 they could be charging 2x that .... Unbelieveable game
The dark theme and gun designs are peak. The sound design is fantastic too, maybe a little bit unsettling as positive buff sound effects will have you thinking you're being attacked by an enemy o: Not a fan of extraction games, but I think Witchfire muffles this aspect enough where its tolerable.
Menuda basura xD
I'm about 20 hours in and can't put this game down. I'm gnosis 3 so I haven't experienced end game yet, but so far, the game is fantastic. I love the gothic setting and tone. Seeing new and harder enemies as you increase your gnosis keeps the game fresh and exciting, and most importantly, the weapons are interesting. They're fun to use, and have special buffs that make them feel different. You have a hand cannon that's bullets stick to enemies and surfaces, then explodes when you reload, you have a auto rifle that blocks and tanks one hit from the front every 10 or so seconds, and smg that overheats and lights enemies on fire the hotter it gets, and all kinds of different weapons that are unique and play different (so not all hand cannons feel the same for example). I also love the way you upgrade weapons. Some games have you upgrade the raw stats to a +1,+2, +3 situation which often locks you into maining a select few weapons (usually due to limited upgrade resources). An example of how you upgrade in this game is, you get a certain amount of kills and usually have to engage the weapons special perk, then the weapon gets more developed perks while the raw stats stay the same. For example, the auto rifle that has a shield, will block a shot at lvl 1. Upgrade to lvl 2, and when you block an attack, you fire in slow auto but deal insane damage. It makes upgrading more interesting while keeping the raw stats the same. I could go on and on about how much I love this game, but I'd rather play it. I highly recommend this game. It's well worth it's cost, and it's very far along it's early access. It feels like a finished game, and I imagine their 1.0 release is soonish and won't changed a whole lot. The game is great in it's current state.
Quality. That's the defining term for this game. Between the weapons, enemy design, and environment, probably one of the better games you can get for 40$ without a sale. Strong art-direction, style, and the gameplay feels great with the variety of weapons, spells, and accessories. Not all are made equal, but none feel bad past their first or second upgrade which are very easy to get. Enemies are varied and (mostly) fair in how they treat you. All stand out differently for what they do, and look distinct so you know what you're fighting. The sound design is incredible, between guns, tells you're being shot at, and the environment, you know what is happening and when it's happening based solely on sound. 9/10, only big shame is the wait between updates, but I've been following this game since first launch and it's come a long way while retaining every ounce of effort.
suffer not the witch unless you're already max corruption in a run >:) still, this is almost everything you could want from a solo extraction shooter, has great aesthetics, and will certainly pave the way for more games of its like, especially with more and more success at its doorstep
Gunplay and movement is solid, good presentation and setting. Pretty dope game.
