About
She took his phone. He just wants it back. The train has other plans.
This is not a rhythm game about dancing. This is a rhythm game about surviving a relationship.
Hit your inputs: you attack. Miss the window: you bleed.
Arcade rhythm combat. Four buttons. No mercy. Miss enough — everything resets. Every boss. Every car. Back to zero.
No checkpoints. No shortcuts. Just the next attempt.
Her best friend. Her brother. Her exes. Her pet. Her biker gang. Her mother. Her father.
Choose your order. Fight them all. Lose and start over.
Every boss talks. Every conversation chips away at August's very convincing lie that he doesn't care.

Wiseman: No More Breakups is a game that utterly oozes with style, putting Persona 5 and Scott Pilgrim into a blender with just a dash of No More Heroes to create a fun yet fairly challenging rhythm game. The art style and soundtrack are really good and help give the game a sense of identity - my personal favourite song was Rozzie Mcbestie. The story is straight-forward while still having a solid emotional core even with its short runtime and the bosses have different gameplay mechanics to keep things fresh - the best part to me is you can fight the bosses in whatever order your heart desires. I used that flexibility to fight the hardest boss first - that way if I lost it wouldn't feel like I just wasted my time fighting the other bosses. I'm personally not a huge fan of the mechanics of that hardest boss, finding it to be a bit tedious, but I'm also pretty new to the genre so this is probably just a skill issue. Also in the category of "I don't usually play rhythm games so I'm not sure if this is typical for the genre or not" there's no pause button - which now that I think about it, yeah that makes sense. I wouldn't be mentioning it if not for me failing my first run of this game because I went to pause (not knowing it wasn't an option) and accidentally pressed the give up button (which you're not told about - which annoyed me a little bit, I'm not gonna lie I had to restart the whole game :/). But honestly? This game is fun and it's only like $2. Go play it, it's good.

THE GAME
absolutely not a rhythm game. it's also completely bizzare, but it's charming
jogo muito bom da pra passar o tempo
super fun, love the music just wish there was more!! and can really see the persona influence behind it which I love
I really liked this game! It’s simple, charming, and really easy to enjoy. I especially loved the art style and the soundtrack, they fit the game really well and made the whole experience feel very cozy. My only complaint is that it’s way too short 😭 I finished it and immediately went, “Wait… that’s it??” LMAO. But honestly, I still had a really good time with it. Short, simple, cute, and enjoyable. I just wish there was more of it!
