About
She took his phone. He just wants it back. The train has other plans.
This is not a rhythm game about dancing. This is a rhythm game about surviving a relationship.
Hit your inputs: you attack. Miss the window: you bleed.
Arcade rhythm combat. Four buttons. No mercy. Miss enough — everything resets. Every boss. Every car. Back to zero.
No checkpoints. No shortcuts. Just the next attempt.
Her best friend. Her brother. Her exes. Her pet. Her biker gang. Her mother. Her father.
Choose your order. Fight them all. Lose and start over.
Every boss talks. Every conversation chips away at August's very convincing lie that he doesn't care.

Not the most complex but at $2 this is a fun little game with a cool persona-esque style and good music!
best 2 dollars ever this is a thrill, i'd appreciate a pause menu though and i'm not sure how to turn on autoplay
Really short and fun game!! There is always a challenge for everyone in here, from casual to hardcore player!! Worth the full price too!!

This game is short but sweet. The art direction is obviously inspired by Persona, but the character designs are super wild and weird in the best way possible. The story is also surprisingly fun and totally unhinged... I mean, an alien lol What I enjoyed the most though is the gameplay. It mixes these small QTE style inputs with rhythm mechanics and throws in a roguelite twist, which ends up feeling really fresh. And the cherry on top? This was made by a solo developer. Massive respect. Really hope this gets a sequel someday with more content and even crazier, mind blowing stuff. The only thing i dislike, Reverse Arrow! Thats so cruel hahaha
The art style looked cool and it was listed as a rhythm game. However, this is janky as hell with crooked English, subpar voice acting/noise acting and the soundtrack is also not very good. It tries to be Persona but doesn't pull it off that well. Also, the plot isn't well explained and ends up being totally irrelevant. I feel like instead of a story it's more of a "uhh, here's a quick reason why you're doing this", which I guess is fine, games like Friday Night Funkin don't have a proper story but the gameplay/style/polish is good enough to back it up. Also: This is not a bloody rhythm game in the slightest. There is no rhythm involved, it's literally just "hit the arrows in order and then spacebar" with no attachment to the track playing at that moment, like what?? Why is this tagged as a rhythm game??? And yeah, the gameplay is ridiculously simple. The animations are also very barebones and the soundtrack is mid as hell, maybe even bad. Also, having to wait ~8 seconds every time you go fight a boss is, in my opinion, ridiculous. I don't even know why that timer's there? Is it for preparation? No, cause then you'd see the arrows. Is it for dramatic effect? Genuinely no idea. One final note: Maybe I'm suffering from Terminal Lack of Reading Comprehension™ but the tutorial made it seem like you had to hit the arrows when the timer thingy was on top of them, but no. You just hit them whenever (which I think is not very good).
At first, i thought this game is just like "oh well, this is ez to play", but hell nah, i tried from toddler mode and slowly progressing to teenager mode, its awesome! i still cant beat the wiseman mode, maybe i should do 30 days of fasting first, take a bath with 7 kind of flowers, and contemplate inside a cave for the preparation! anyway awesome Ul and gameplay! totally challenging.
Audition the rhythm game, with a fancy persona-esque UI and cool jazzy music It's got quirky dialogue, and our MC gave me a bit of a chuckle with the ending sequence Short and sweet, worth the dollars I spent Getting the wiseman no-hit needed me going 110% focus-mode, but otherwise it was a neat experience through and through Btw, you having trouble with reverse-arrows?
just flip your keyboard
*taps temple* Give it a shot
I beat the game very quickly. It is short but SO good to me. I feel like this is the invention of a new combat control scheme. I would love to see a bigger game with this type of combat built in to enemy fights. It scratches an active-QTE gameplay vibe that I didn't know I wanted until I played this game. What stands out the most for me is This game has incredible Art Direction and the music is perfect for the vibe. Love the unique use of typography and persona-esque menu presentation. I would love to see this developer have more time and resources to build a robust engine around this combat. Good game! Would love to see more from this dev.
a really fun experience at a reasonable price and also really love the artstyle, thats what sold me in the first place
