Bit of a history lesson. easy to transform to old style pilot.

I loved the old Amiga game, this felt exactly the same. I played for 4 hours, and moved on. Just reinstalled it 4 times, but I am suddenly unable to configure the controls, no matter what I do. Unplayable at this stage

This is a pure nostalgia hit for those of us who remember it back in the day on he Amiga 500. Whilst some of the reviews are correct that this is not quite the same as the original it does enough to bring that game into a more reimagines version of the original. It has all the elements and parts you remembered and a good mix of dog fights, bombing, strafing etc to keep you happy. There are a few issues though. The difficulty level of the game really needs some tweaking as it can go from far too easy to almost impossible. For example the 9 v 1 air battle. Even some when its 4 v 8 can be incredibly tough because your patrol pilots can be useless. I missions where I downed 8+ planes and everyone else didn't get any and my plane is riddled with holes. Also at times the enemy just like to fly into you, I did learn to stop that from getting close to happening but if you don't spot the plane there was nothing you can do (although this didn't happen often it happened enough to be annoying). The strafing missions it seems you can fail them even if you do what was asked, likewise with the bombing missions there were times I definitely hit targets as they were in flames but at the end it said I had missed them. That said, for those who can't play the original on an Amiga this does enough to be a great alternative even if it never quite hits the heights the original did back in the 90s.

I loved that game in the Amiga times. Played it with my brother on an A1200 for month and fam we never got to the final mission. Now I'm playing for 2,5 hours and slowly strating to make progress. The game is still fun pure.

Assolutamente da avere se si è giocato l'originale uscito i primi anni '90 per Amiga. Tecnicamente ben realizzato ed effetto nostalgia assicurato!
