Wildermyth follows heroes over their whole careers, from their pitchfork days to their powerful primes, and on into old age and memory. It’s a party-based procedural storytelling RPG where tactical combat and story decisions will alter your world and reshape your cast of characters.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This was one of the most fun games - if not THE most fun - I've bought in the past Summer Sale. I wasn't expecting much of it but it completely blew my mind. A game where I can ACTUALLY choose my path, where my choices ACTUALLY matter and interfere with the gameplay, narrative and everything else! Every campaign can have so much depth and can be so emotional! Wildermyth is a gem, you should treat yourself better and buy it. I guarantee you'll pour some good hours into it. Only minor downsides are the story and quests can repeat sometimes and gameplay can be a little repetitive combat-wise. But hey, enjoy the ride, the focus here is the journey you'll craft.
Delightful game my friend bought for me after I beat BG3. She strongly suggested it for the varying narrative and randomly generated events that pop up based on keywords given to each individual hero. The choices made have weighty impact despite the linear objectives and the replayability is really good.
Baldur's Gate 3 / DND Lite but you also get to control more aspects of the story. You essentially play DM with your team, sharing a single"Tabletop" of sorts. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Wildermyth, it's one of the best games, the best LAN co-op game I've ever played. We love every second of it. Runs well on Linux as well.
i can very confidently say this is one of my favourite games i have ever played. it just scratches every itch for me. character creation, dnd style story progression, strategic battling, build experimentation, my list goes on and on! it is endlessly inspiring. i just love making my little guys and seeing them become heroes!
Before starting the game, I thought that visuals would be the problem, but the character interactions would save the day. Turns out the visuals are nice, but the problem is the ENDLESS and POINTLESS random dialogues, which feel like spam. Those dialogues suck all the fun out of the rest of the game.
I just played through the first 3 chapters (8 hours), thought the game was over... was totally satisfied and a little sad it was done. Then I learned there are a half dozen more campaigns all with 5 chapters each plus multiplayer. It's crazy, but I actually cared about the characters as they aged and the paths I chose for them through the years -- time actually matters in the campaigns as one resource among others and your adventurers can die or retire - their appearance changes as they age and from some choices you make. The surviving heroes entered into a legacy mode where they're basically reborn without all their abilities, but look like teenage versions again. I don't know how it all works yet, but was cool they didn't just disappear. It's turn based combat with 3 primary classes Warrior, Hunter, and Mystic - parties have up to 5 characters.
I love this game. Omenroad DLC is my favorite because I really like exploding trees and being fast but story mode is also super fun and very different - genuinely story based with fun combat. But the shared legacy system between the two makes for a very good time. For me, it is the combat system that keeps me enthralled. The deep deep synergies possible in pcs and parties is beyond anything I've experienced. I still discover nuances after years of playing. Mystics and hunters are my favorite to play. Hunters are just very, very roguish and mobile and the mystic system is truly refreshing when you get the hang of it. It shouldn't be so rich when there are only 3 classes but it very much is. It is easy to play in small nuggets of time as well.
Genuinely one of my favourite games ever: - short enough to finish a game in a couple of sittings (max, i usually have around 2 sittings a game) - enough variation in the vanilla game that having now played 150+ hours, there's a small handful of interactions I've had more than once, but I still haven't come close to every option/variation of the interactions - it's easy to pick up and put down while you're playing, which is also to say that it doesn't require your peak attention or performance in the lower difficulties - still interesting and engaging. 9/10, hyped to the correct amount.
