A PSX-style survival horror game where you run, hide, and fight through a deep-sea prison overrun by cloning monsters that regenerate from severed limbs, forcing you to carefully choose when violence is worth the risk.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
This Game is a DEMO at this time.
Far below the surface lies a corporate-run industrial prison, hidden in the darkness of the deep sea. Built to conduct experiments far from public scrutiny, the facility has become something far worse than just a prison.
Now the halls are overrun with grotesque cloning organisms that multiply from severed limbs. Every violent encounter risks creating more of them.
To escape with any chance of survival, you must run, hide, and fight your way through the collapsing substation, navigating locked cell blocks, flooded corridors, research labs, and industrial maintenance tunnels. But brute force won’t save you here. The creatures grow stronger with every mistake, and Tyde Civic Corporation is determined to ensure its secrets never reach the surface.
As the facility falls deeper into chaos, you’ll need to solve environmental puzzles, evade relentless enemies, and uncover the truth behind the prison’s experiments. Every path upward brings you closer to freedom, and closer to the secrets Tyde Civic buried beneath the sea.
Ultimately, to escape the prison and survive Tyde Civic’s grotesque creations,
there's nowhere to go except up.
PSX-Style Survival Horror
Experience a retro-inspired horror game with low-poly visuals, gritty textures, and an oppressive atmosphere inspired by late-90s horror classics.
Enemies That Multiply
The creatures inside the facility reproduce from severed limbs. Cut off an arm and it does not die. It will grow into another body, leaving the original creature alive. Every fight risks turning one enemy into many.
Run, Hide, or Fight
Not every encounter should be fought. Choose carefully when to confront enemies and when to evade them as the prison becomes increasingly overrun.
Metroidvania Style Exploration
Unlock tools and skills to revisit previously inaccessible areas, uncovering secrets as you explore the labyrinthine facility.
Explore the Deep-Sea Facility
Navigate a sprawling underwater prison complex, from flooded corridors and cell blocks to laboratories and industrial tunnels barely holding back the ocean.
Corporate Secrets
Uncover the disturbing truth behind Tyde Civic Corporation and the experiments buried beneath the sea.

love it. cant wait to see whats next
The game is buggy and doesn't explain what to do. Enemies can multiply when you fight them, but it's never tense or scary. Feels unfinished overall. (no options menu at all, repetitive NPC models / environments, missing audio, etc.)
Yay Whalefall! I physically jumped a couple times this game can be sooo scary when you're not expecting it, love the art/vfx and the level/system design
we need chinese!!!
深渊断肢化千身,刀落方知祸更深♥
“Sometimes the whale falls, but it always gets back up.” A game about scary things, and even more scary things. I had come across this game looking to overcome a fear of scary things and I must say I was impressed after playing. Whalefall is a masterpiece in the early stages of a gaming renaissance to come. Its PSX style graphics and gameplay take the idea of a horror and survival experience and enhance the sheer fear of the unknown that you experience throughout the adventure. Countless supernatural beings inhabit this world and feel reminiscent of creatures out of the “Backrooms” As far as the world design goes, the team did a great job at balancing exploration with seamless levels where you don’t “know” where to go, but you know where to go. I found myself perfectly confused at times and quickly found what I was supposed to do next. I love the lighting as well, it felt really unique and unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I also thought the sound design was incredible. Minimalistic, but powerful. I was enthralled with the experience of this game and I think a part of it rewrote my brain in a sense. I had developed more courage to go head first into scary situations and conquer my fear of scary things. I recommend Whalefall for everyone, even if you get scared like Cudzy. This game is quick, enjoyable, and an unforgettable experience. Definitely would recommend.
Finished the demo My feedback as a game designer and developer: Pros: - Nail the atmospheric vibe (isolation). - Artstyle is pretty spot on with the retro psx graphics - You can get used to the game and take advantage of it's mechanics Cons: - Main menu needs more reworking - Enemy physics seem very weird when they die (why do they fly all over the place?) - Flashlight has a bit of a problem with it's rotation as the game progresses - The throwing mechanic needs more juice/sfx to emphasize the player's action For a demo, it is worth a try on my end. But given it's cons, these issues need to be resolved.
woowww its so cool :000
I enjoyed this game!!
