Addictive, Hilarious, and Just a Bit Laggy
https://youtu.be/ocCchLeZsAE Weed Shop Simulator is one of those games that surprises you with how quickly it pulls you in. From planting seeds to dealing with oddball customers, there’s always something happening that makes you laugh or keeps you hooked. The shop management side is easy to pick up but has enough depth to keep things interesting as you expand your little empire. It’s true that the game can get a bit laggy at times, especially when the action ramps up, but those moments are small bumps in an otherwise fun ride. If you’re looking for a laid-back yet wildly entertaining simulator that doesn’t take itself too seriously, this one’s absolutely worth checking out.

this game worse game ever played first bad review doing not mulch can do in game seems that steam discussions being irgoure and no discord contact dev how would they know bugs one and two no way to know if ever going to be update
Massive lag when it comes to adding new shelves, found it to be very jumpy when using the checkout, its playable but these issues are making it difficult. be great if they could be fixed. overall looks great.
I saw a YouTuber play this. it's why I got it. I thought it looked fun and cool. For starters, you have to hit the "TAB" button to complete a sale when giving back change in cash, it doesn't work. Basically nothing happens, but however it works if it wants to. the devs that made this game need to work on it some more to make things work better. maybe when or if it gets better reviews, i will play this again but I'm not gonna waste my time on this. I would feel like a jerk if I recommended this game with the current state it's in. saw another review saying not to buy this game, that player is right. I just wanted to see for myself for my own experience. wait for more updates and reviews. it's somewhat laggy sometimes. so it's a ->NO<- for now.
WEED SHOP SIMULATOR, developed and published by Dragon Path, is an Early Access business management game that tries to merge first-person immersion with a multi-layered simulation of building a cannabis enterprise from the ground up. It positions itself as a “start small, grow big” experience, where players begin with basic resources and gradually expand into a more complex operation involving cultivation, product development, staffing, and competition. The ambition behind the concept is clear, but the execution reveals a project still very much in the process of finding its footing. At the center of the experience is the cultivation system, which forms the backbone of progression. Players are tasked with growing different strains, experimenting with combinations, and refining their output to increase profitability. This aspect of the game is one of its more engaging features, as it introduces a sense of discovery and incremental improvement. Unlocking new variations and optimizing production creates a satisfying loop, especially early on when each upgrade feels meaningful. The addition of crafting systems—turning raw materials into more valuable products—further expands this loop, hinting at a deeper layer of management that could become more compelling with further development. Beyond production, the game introduces business management elements such as hiring employees and organizing workflows. Staff members can take over repetitive tasks, allowing players to shift their focus toward expansion and optimization. In theory, this creates a natural progression from hands-on micromanagement to overseeing a more automated operation. However, the implementation is somewhat inconsistent, with systems that feel functional but not fully fleshed out. The balance between manual control and automation is not always smooth, and the lack of depth in certain mechanics can make the management aspect feel more surface-level than strategic. What sets the game apart from more traditional simulators is its tone, which leans heavily into unpredictability and absurd humor. The world is filled with exaggerated characters, unusual events, and moments that feel intentionally chaotic. This gives the game a distinct personality, but it also creates a disconnect between its simulation ambitions and its comedic tendencies. At times, it feels unsure whether it wants to be a grounded business simulator or a sandbox of bizarre interactions, and this inconsistency can make the overall experience feel unfocused. The first-person perspective is intended to enhance immersion, placing players directly inside their shop and operations. While this approach has potential, it is also one of the game’s weakest areas in its current state. Interactions can feel awkward, with controls that lack precision and responsiveness. Simple tasks such as managing inventory or interacting with objects can become unnecessarily cumbersome, disrupting the flow of gameplay. These issues are compounded by occasional technical problems, which further highlight the game’s Early Access nature. Visually, the game adopts a colorful and somewhat stylized presentation, but it lacks cohesion and polish. Environments can feel sparse, and character models vary in quality, contributing to an overall sense of inconsistency. While the visual style aligns with the game’s chaotic tone, it does little to elevate the experience beyond its basic functionality. The audio design follows a similar pattern, providing adequate support without adding much depth or memorability. One of the most important considerations when evaluating WEED SHOP SIMULATOR is its current stage of development. As an Early Access title, it is clearly positioned as a work in progress, with plans for expanded features and improved systems over time. This context helps explain many of its shortcomings, but it also means that the present experience can feel incomplete. There are glimpses of a more engaging and complex simulator beneath the surface, but they are not yet fully realized. Replayability, at this stage, is limited by the depth of its systems. While there is some enjoyment to be found in experimenting with production and growing a business, the lack of variety and refinement can cause the experience to lose momentum over longer sessions. Players who enjoy sandbox-style games and are comfortable navigating rough edges may find enough here to stay engaged, but those looking for a polished and fully developed management experience may struggle to remain invested. Ultimately, WEED SHOP SIMULATOR is a game with a strong conceptual foundation but an uneven execution. It offers moments of creativity and hints at deeper systems, yet it is held back by technical issues, inconsistent design, and a lack of refinement. For players willing to embrace its Early Access state and tolerate its quirks, it can be an interesting experiment with potential. For others, it may feel like a project that needs more time to fully come together. Rating: 5/10
