Heart-warming game with lovable characters. Though I want to replay again and again just to visit different characters at the same time, it is too tedious to restart the chapter. Manual saving slots would be nice here.
Beautifully voiced and written characters make for a lively time, even if it's very much a chill and cozy game at its heart. There's some overarching stories with the hospital and your and your mom but other than that there's (apparently) a lot of player's choice. I don't usually go back to games unless I adore them so I can't comment on that but what I got in my first (and last) playthrough I enjoyed. The engine is a little wonky and sometimes things can feel repetitive or you can't say the things you feel like you should given the knowledge you had, but overall a solid game.

Wayward Strand was a beautiful game. I just finished my first play through of it and I am excited to start my next. I enjoyed the the feeling of being the background character, merely just existing in the lives of everyone on the ship. Each character is so distinct and how the story plays out really puts you inside the mind of Casey. It was hard on the final day, saying my goodbyes-- craving for more days of bonding with those on the ship. While the game was slow and calm, I never once felt bored, there was always someone to find and at minimum just sit with. Personally, this game reminded me to enjoy the slow moments, that sometimes just sitting with someone is enough. I heavily suggest this game to anyone who likes low-intensity games, ones that encourage you to take the time to exist and interact with no objective to it.
Wayward Strand is a fantastic narrative driven game about generational differences and hardships of growing older. In the game you play as 14 year old Casey who is spending 3 days aboard a retirement home located in an airship. One of the most notable aspects of Wayward Strand is the time clock. Anytime you choose to spend time with someone or take a lap to explore the airship the in-game clock is always moving. And because it’s impossible to be everywhere at once, every single play-through will always be different. The airship’s inhabitants whether, warm and caring, angry and cold, or entirely nonverbal, all have interesting stories and personalities. But I always felt like I was just scratching the surface with the majority of them. It definitely makes me want to revisit this game sometime down the road.
The game is soo cozy! Also when your talking to the elders it feels so real! every charcter is really unique and intresting to talk to NOT BORING as a person who doesnt gets impressed easily i felt heartbroken when the game ended ugh....LOVE YOU TOMIE&ALDA
Wayward Strand is an incredibly ambitious narrative videogame with great writing, a refreshing art style, and a fascinating setting. It had some visual glitches, when I played it at least, but it's still worth checking out if you're interested in narrative focused games that take the medium in interesting and fruitful directions. I'm looking forward to the team's next project.

Chissà, magari resto in questo mood, e mi decido a finire Silence of the Sleep... 🤔
Osservazione aggiuntiva:
Voto: 9/10 e lode
I really enjoyed everything related to this game. It made me reminisce my time when I used to help in nursing homes. Casey and her mom's misunderstandings are too real and it makes this game really immersive in.
