Way of the Samurai 4 takes place in the humble port town of Amihama during the mid 19th Century, several years after the arrival of the “black ships” from the West ended Japan’s long history of cultural isolation.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 4 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

99.9% of my WotS4 hours are on Playstation, but what a fantastic game this is! Perhaps not as good as WotS3, but memorable in its own way. WotS4 improves on certain systems like unlinking moves to specific weapons or allowing more character customisation, but it loses some of the flavour from the previous title. Still, if you liked WotS3 and want more, you'll enjoy this.
This game is seriously underrated gem and one of the best samurai (or rather ronin) experiences out there. What it lacks in expansiveness it more than makes up in depth. You dont have one playthorugh lasting tens of hours, you will finish the game in few hours, but come back over and over again, because: 1) World: Unlike modern open world games with samurai thematics the world of WOTS4 is tiny. Just one little town separated into 9 fairly small locations. But the way the game uses them with the interwoven storylines of game´s main factions makes those small location often feel more alive than what modern titles can offer. The game doesnt have single storyline, its stories of multiple factions tied and woven together in a way where every even of one faction affects the rest of them, ultimately leading you into one of the 10 endings. The game even remembers your decisions and carries the most important of them into next playthroughs and change events of the game and even ending. 2) Combat system: The combat system seems small at the beginning, but in reality its one of the more complex ones. While you have only 4 kinds of weapons, with the main focus on combat being katanas, the amount of stances, different movesets, skills and even ability to create your own style from learnt moves allows everyplaythrough to feel different just with the way your character fights. 3) Weapons: Same as combat system. Your main weapon will be mostly katana. There are other weapons, such as spears or even revolvers and rifles. But the main focus are over 80 different sword you have in the game. Not only that, you can also dismantle the swords and put them together as you see fit. You like the blade and scabbard bud dislike handle or guard? Just dismantle the weapons and put together the visual of your dreams. Or try to minmax the skills to create the ultimate instrument. 4) Side activities: Even though its a fairly small game with somewhat tight schedule due to storylines, even there are tons of side activities: From running your own dojo to fighting thugs, solving crimes or bedding women, always something to do to get extra money or experience.

This game is peak. I have played a lot of the previous sequel and it was very good. I love this type of games and sad that it wouldn't be any update in the future and I hope this series have a comeback. (sorry for the bad english)
we need your master piece wots 2 . where is it?

Me sinto tbm num filme do Kurosawa, jogo bom demais.
