you can tell that a lot of love went into this game, the art style and sound are overflowing with personality; unfortunately it can't save the game from boring gameplay. everything's too easy and repetitive. a good chunk of this game is spent just walking (or rather surfing) from place to place without any obstacles or puzzles or enemies to make it anything but monotonous. There are lots of collectibles but the things you can buy are mostly just cosmetics
I think the game is generally fine, but the gameplay is just unbearably repetitive. Every mission is just travelling very far to an island on the empty ocean littered with pipes to grind on. Then restoring power by hitting switches on nearby islands or something similar and then travelling al the way back to the main island. The travelling alone is most of the game. Besides the main story there are a couple time trials, which are relatively fun but short and some fetch quest from generic npc's that aren't really meaningful and just give you some currency for cosmetics.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

An easy, charming 3D exploration-platformer with a fun, fluid movement system, fitting music and a lively, vivid aesthetic. If it wasn't so buggy and had some QOL updates done, I think it would be a strong option for a casual gaming experience for younger audiences. The story and worldbuilding ranges from just okay to fun and interesting. However, it is *buggy* in a way that really detracts from the game. The journal-opening button only works sometimes, there's sometimes environment objects you fall through, but the worst one is that any side quests need to be completed in one sitting because they do not save in your quest log between sessions, so you'll need to go back to the original NPC and get the quest again... The only people who will have a smooth play experience are people who only do the main quest and make sure to do nothing else, and even then... The only marker that can be made on the map is the main quest, so it's also just hard to locate side quests and you can't place your own marker on the map to help with backtracking for missed side quests or collectable journal entries. There's also an instance of poor environment design that flings you into walls of death at one point. And whilst the story is fine conceptually, it just doesn't feel good playing as Sigrid. You're constantly nagged, complained at, told to hurry up, on the wrong side of things... I don't feel attached to these characters because of their annoying dialogue, and in a way I kind of resent them... That one is more subjective, though.
Bom para jogar com o pato, quack!
Deep breaths, my darling~ 🌊🌊🌊 For an indie game, this was such a fun and enjoyable platformer! The music was really cool, and I loved all the dad jokes and goofy humor throughout the game. It’s a short game, but I really enjoyed just roaming around and exploring. Sometimes, that’s all you need. 5/5 stars would recommend!
Short but enjoyable movement-based game.
Underneath Wavetale’s generic name is a charming game with great movement mechanics, okay platforming, and rudimentary combat. It’s surprisingly beautiful both visually and audibly, with a stunning soundtrack that is melancholic, soaring, and dynamic and strong voice acting. The story is pretty boilerplate and doesn’t have any surprises, but there is enough content to keep players engaged and at a length of around 5 hours, it doesn’t overstay its welcome. I liked it but didn’t love it.
Fun short cute game. Basic gameplay, basic platforming, basic story. Doesn't overstay it's welcome and provides a nice 5 hours and fun 100%!
