A far different look into 40k than we normally get, DarkTide is removed from the epic clashes and huge spectacles that usually show off the franchise, instead giving you what might be the closest we'll ever get to a "boots-on-the-ground" fight for survival. Brutal, violent, fast. Gameplay is top-notch, both melee and ranged, with hordes of enemies to fight. Only issue with that is some enemies completely invalidate certain weapons, so you may feel forced to use certain choices in your build over others. Too many armored enemies really cuts into the list of viable melee weapons. Soundtrack is amazing. Go listen to [Disposal Unit-imperial mix] for an example.
