About
Delve into a first person adventure game world where augmented reality extends your gameplay, seamlessly blurring the lines between reality and fantasy.
Here's a small overview on how the AR companion "hint" app works. The AR is based on native smartphone WebAR technology (Android/Apple AR quicklook technolgy) - no extra app download needed.

In the murky haze of an unsettling fog, a fateful bond is shattered as your faithful companion vanishes into the watery abyss. When consciousness returns, you find yourself stranded on an enigmatic oil rig, a haunting testament to the unknown. Bizarre and otherworldly objects litter the rig's deck, their unearthly presence mocking the laws of reality. As a pulsating pain grips your skull, an enigmatic and perilous odyssey unfolds, beckoning you to uncover the secrets that lie hidden within this twisted realm.

No thanks. Uninspired story and awkward interface. Focus on making a good game instead of AR integration next time.
The game starts off promising with a cutscene that lets us know what we're in store for. The main menu looks sleek. Work has gone into that. The game features voice over work which is noice. Can see the lovecraft influence off the bat. The game revolves around the main character usin QR codes to help guide em thru the levels. We essentially have to go thru portals to progress. There are some frame drops in certain areas but nothin game breakin'. Had a solid experience with the hour ish spent in game. Pick it up if ur a lovecraft fan.
Follow "First Person Exploration and Puzzle Games" for more games like this!
Absolutely terrible UX. I have no idea what I'm doing, or why I'm doing it. They make no effort to guide the player to do what they want them to do. The map is filled with invisible walls, except where it isn't and you just fall off the map to your death. Everything is dark and blurry and abberated. It was just an exercise in frustration.
Fairly short walking simulator, with a few hidden object type puzzles. The QR codes are clever touch. I had trouble viewing them in my phone so I just put the scanned URLs into my browser on the computer and it was much easier to navigate them. The price point is a little steep for the experience in my opinion. But it does have a good Lovecraft ambiance.
I finished the game in roughly 45 minutes. I didn't do much exploration because there's not a real reason presented that explains why I should. For the most part you can completely avoid the AR aspects, and just find the things you need hidden around the game's various environments. The AR will either just give you a picture that tells you where to look, or potentially an actual clue you can use. It sadly feels far more like a gimmick than anything truly useful. It would have made much more sense to have items you could pick up and inspect to find the hints or whatever. But that's just me. The story is.... I have no idea. Your dog disappears. Maybe. Maybe it doesn't. Maybe it's been gone for a long time? I don't know, and it isn't explained. I can only assume this happens because your dog barks open a portal to some kind of eldritch horrorspace. And even then I'm mostly guessing, because aside from a very few minor plot points we are just left to our own imagination to put the pieces together. And my mind became more focused on pizza, because I'm hungry. The game is essentially a bunch of levels tied together through portals, without any understandable connection. A shame, because the set pieces are quite good for the most part. There are some clipping issues, and a variety of areas that simply don't look right... But overall the atmosphere looks and feels good. There's just no reasonable justification for any of what we're experiencing. This is definitely a time I wish Steam offered us the ability to make our recommendation somewhere in the middle between Yes and No. It's a short experience with no real replay value in my opinion, so while I'll give it the most hesitant of recommendations - you may want to wait for a sale.
Great atmosphere in this game! Lots of creepy moments. The sound does a lot too, especially with headphones. The AR stuff is fun, but the puzzles are rather easy. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
BEAUTIFUL IMAGES, GRAPHICALLY TOP, A FUN GAME THAT TAKES YOU INTO A GAME FULL OF MYSTERY.
Absolutely stunning graphics & audio. The game really immerses you in a dark atmosphere. Maybe after I play Half-Life 2 back in 2004, this is the most similar game like feel and gameplay. There's good puzzles & augmented reality, which is awesome idea & realisation! Support indie devs!
