As someone who never played a classic racer before, I can't say I'm a huge fan. I could see this being cool back in the day, but in the modern age, it's not very good. If you don't have nostalgia for these sorts of games, I'd avoid this.
Never played this back in the day. Probably bought this in a bundle just to see how old games work on modern PC. Well it works! I played 1 race and got first on first try so it's good in my book. It's a drive and shoot game. I only started playing this type of game this month, really; F1 Race Stars and found it to be quite fun, hence more tryouts of this kind. It's not nostalgia, just curiosity for me. For some light fun, this works just fine. 6/10 Can't be too generous with an old obsolete relic can i?

I have countless hours spent playing this from way before Steam was ever a thing. Is this the best kart racer there ever was? It absolutely is. Fantastic soundtrack and fun tracks. Characters don't really seem to matter, you can play whatever you like most. Plenty of tracks to keep you entertained, and did I mention a fantastic soundtrack?
The very low choppy frame rate makes it unplayable.
For a game that originally released in 1994 (according to google) this is not to bad actually, appart from the weird controls (alt for speed, ctrl for shooting items, arrow buttons to steer). The graphics are not bad either but also low-key hurt your eyes during turns or drifts and i had to turn down the music after 5 seconds because it was so annoying. If you are looking for nostalgia, this game will surely work great for you, if you have never played it before you will probably be disappointed by what you get.
Fun trip down nostalgia lane. Game works pretty well on Steam Deck with good native mapping of controls.
Cutesy little racing game from the DOS days. Only thing I don't like is the lives system.
One of my favorite games in my childhood. Happy memories (^^,)
Good ol' game
