Worst game imaginable. moderation is terrible. making content is terrible. and every community is the worst version of said community. VRchat used to be decent. but now its been filled with monetization and unneeded features. do NOT play it.

I hate this game and what it has become. I forgot to tag an avatar with the new update and got no warning at all, just a 3 day ban. What I also hate is how people can post CP and other disgusting stuff and somehow no one gets in trouble for it, while I make one mistake with an update and immediately get punished. I’ve been playing this game for over 5 years, and it’s honestly disappointing seeing how things are handled now. I understand that rules are important and people should be punished when they actually do something wrong, but the moderation feels completely unfair and inconsistent. There are people who clearly need to be banned, people posting extremely inappropriate and disturbing content, including child sexual abuse material, and yet it feels like nothing happens to them. Meanwhile, someone who simply forgets to tag an avatar after a new update can get a 3 day ban without even receiving a warning first. After playing for over five years, I’ve watched this game change a lot, and honestly, not all of those changes have been for the better. I just don’t understand how the priorities can be so backwards. If someone makes a small mistake, especially because of a new update, give them a warning or a chance to fix it. Save the serious punishments for people who are actually doing serious things. I’ve spent over five years playing this game, and it sucks seeing it become like this. I shouldn’t have to feel like I’m going to get punished for a small mistake while people doing genuinely disgusting things can apparently get away with it. The moderation needs to be more consistent, fair, and focused on the people who are actually making the game unsafe and uncomfortable for everyone else. also this game just sucks now and everyone is toxic
