Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

BIG THUMBS DOWN! Awful game. Stops working after about 40 minutes. Hints do not work. Things you should be able to click on no longer respond. Obtained a refund. Don't even bother trying it, seriously wasting your time.

Many bugs and takes hundreds of clicks to get some of the hidden objects to register. In some places it's impossible to proceed without script editing. Spirit altar, 3/4 of screen black was blacked out, couldn't place monkey head on altar (editing necessary) and the next section, the throne scene, same thing, 3/4 screen black, then after the mini game against Loki, the whole game locked up and refuses to finish. Frustrating rubbish.
This is one kind of an beautyfull Game, it is really a Gem . The Artwork and the music are perfect. I wish it would be more like this one. There a sometimes bugs yes that true. But at my experince nothing which 10min radomly clicking cant solve. There a bigger games on market white more budget and they are bugged as hell so dont be unfair. Try it out and give it a chance to shine. :)
I had to stop playing this one due to a bug in the second or third Hidden Object minigame that I came I across. I had to click on an objected called "$zoom_main_HD" which, unsurprisingly, I couldn't find. Using the hint to circle the object didn't help either - it just circled the center of the screen. It was like they didn't bug test this at all.
You should try it if you're into hidden object games.
Voodoo Chronicles: The First Sign HD – Director’s Cut Edition, developed by Space Monkey International and published by 1C Online Games, is a hidden object adventure that leans heavily into mystery, supernatural intrigue, and a touch of pulp detective storytelling. It follows the journey of James Voodoo, a private investigator drawn into a series of increasingly bizarre events that span from grounded noir elements to outright fantastical scenarios. While the game stays rooted in the traditional hidden object formula, it attempts to distinguish itself through its unusual tone and varied settings, with mixed but occasionally compelling results. The gameplay adheres closely to genre conventions, centering on searching for hidden items across detailed scenes, solving puzzles, and gradually unlocking new areas. Progression is mostly linear, with each completed task opening the way to the next segment of the story. Players frequently revisit locations with new items or information, creating a loop of exploration and backtracking that is familiar to fans of the genre. The sheer number of environments and objects provides a sense of scale, and there is a steady rhythm to moving from one scene to another, uncovering clues and piecing together the narrative. What sets the game apart is its shifting tone and setting. It does not confine itself to a single atmosphere, instead moving between eerie, grounded environments and more surreal or fantastical locations. This variety can be engaging, as it keeps the visual experience from becoming stagnant, but it also results in a narrative that feels somewhat fragmented. The story introduces intriguing ideas—occult forces, hidden civilizations, strange creatures—but does not always develop them with enough cohesion, leading to moments where the plot feels disjointed rather than deliberately mysterious. The hidden object segments themselves are dense and often challenging, sometimes to a fault. Objects are frequently small, partially obscured, or placed in ways that make them difficult to identify quickly. While this increases the level of challenge, it can also lead to frustration, especially when item descriptions are vague or misleading. The game includes a variety of puzzles to break up the object-finding, ranging from logic challenges to mechanical interactions. Some of these puzzles are well-designed and satisfying to solve, offering a welcome change of pace, while others rely on unclear instructions or trial-and-error solutions, which can disrupt the flow of the experience. Visually, the game benefits from its HD presentation, with richly detailed backgrounds that often carry a strong sense of atmosphere. The environments are imaginative and varied, helping to reinforce the game’s shifting tone. However, this level of detail is not always matched by character models or animations, which can feel stiff or out of place within the more elaborate settings. The audio design supports the overall mood with ambient effects and subtle music, though it rarely stands out as a defining feature. The game’s biggest weaknesses lie in its lack of refinement. Technical issues, such as inconsistent object detection or occasional bugs, can interrupt the experience, particularly in scenes where precision is already important. Translation and labeling problems can also create confusion, making it harder to interpret what the game expects from the player. These issues, combined with uneven puzzle design, can lead to moments where progression feels more frustrating than rewarding. Despite these flaws, Voodoo Chronicles manages to maintain a certain appeal, especially for players who enjoy traditional hidden object adventures. Its variety of locations, steady progression, and occasional moments of creativity provide enough engagement to carry it through its rougher sections. It is not a game that consistently excels, but it does offer a solid amount of content and a distinctive atmosphere that may resonate with fans of the genre. In the end, Voodoo Chronicles: The First Sign HD – Director’s Cut Edition is a serviceable but uneven experience that captures the essence of hidden object gameplay while struggling with execution. It offers an intriguing premise and a wealth of content, but is held back by technical issues and inconsistent design. For dedicated fans of the genre, it remains a worthwhile, if imperfect, adventure. Rating: 5/10
