I am the first true Voidsider. Kneel before me. Nice gameplay 10/10
big retrowave fps here very cool and have a pretty chill honest hardworking dev
Voidside is a fast paced moment shooter where you grind to get the highest score. or get RSI with the pistol, lol. A very simple game that is great for killing time and doesn't require a lot of thought. The Developer is very active and invested in his game. Listens to feedback and actions what he can to improve the game. The game has planed updates and new features such as more maps and new enemies. A great game for a dime to pass the time.

A really fun game!! I really enjoy it even though I'm not a massive fps fan :))
voidside is quite neat, decently enjoyable to play as is and i couldn't find any bugs, however this game should be considered early access still since the game play is mildy repeative right now, however i know the corn guy personally and more is coming yipiiiieee
Despite the lurking possibility of boredom, this is a decent shooter for a few rounds. The game is score-based, or get as far as you can before dying and starting over. The gameplay is straightforward, as you simply run around and shoot with your two starting weapons, a pistol and a shotgun. Each round plays the same way. A crystal in the map's center constantly spawns enemies, which you must kill as quickly as possible. They will rush to your positions, therefore you have to keep moving at all times. If you don’t take them out fast enough, it's easy to be swamped by almost a hundred enemies. There's a bit of bad news for those who get bored easily: the enemy diversity is minimal. if you don't include drones that appear at regular intervals, you're shooting at the same opponents over and over again. To be more specific, you're killing a single type of enemy that has been cloned an endless number of times. Every copy has the exact same animation. Enemies drop healing crystals. It happens at random, and they only heal a small amount, but at least you don't have to worry about picking them because they will come flying to you on their own. More health is the reward for surviving long. Collecting enemy fragments fills up a blue bar at the top of the screen, and each level up yields you a large chunk of extra health. These fragments, however, do not come to you like healing crystals. If you want more health, you'll have to go get it. The game also has a store with permanent improvements to help people who dedicate time to the game. These are bought with coins that are rarely dropped by enemies. The store variety is slightly better than with enemies, but it is still fairly limited. You can increase your coin multiplier, which is the first thing you should do if you want to escape the grind, boost your health and power of health crystals, and buy two extra weapons and two useful abilities. They do, however, come at the expense of your health. On one side, there's a forcefield that deflects bullets but gradually damages you, and on the other, there's a dragon punch that kills everything in its path but practically kills you with each activation. You can play through seven stages. To unlock the next one, you must first reach a specific point total. Despite the fact that each stage has a different design, you're still essentially trapped in a box with set boundaries. Stages are a mixed bag. The main issue with them is that they are packed with objects that make it difficult to move around. Because later stages are more open and larger, such problem does not occur as frequently. In addition, one stage allows you to exploit the game. Because you can jump while opponents cannot, you can climb on one object and kill enemies from a safe distance. The game runs fine until you get hundreds of enemies on the screen. It’s still impressive, but so many units push the hardware to its limits.
Its just not good. I can beat the hardest dificulty easy by just reaching a high ground place where the enemies can't reach me and kill them from above. And the game is a grind fest that has not a single mechanic that trigers enought dopamine to justify it's existance. And I wouldn't consider this game to be an action roguelike. Having that tag mislead my expectations.
This game is incredibly easy to pick up and learn as you move around the map with the speed of an ICBM and the simple starting loadout of a pistol and shogun. The game, while being easy to start, packs quite the challenge with the constantly spawning waves of enemies in increasing numbers. Overall a simple and fun shooter with fun movement and combat.
Neat game, definitely worth checking out!
