About
Pilot a physics-driven lander between remote bases on a hostile world. Choose a contract, load the ship, check the fuel estimate, and commit to the flight. Heavy cargo pays more, but needs more thrust and makes every landing harder. Long hauls raise the payout further, if you can afford the fuel and make it all the way. When weather hits or a system fails, complete the delivery with whatever still works.
Commercial freight pays for repairs and upgrades. Special rift offerings keep the world stable. Every flight asks how much risk you can afford.
Control vertical, lateral, and yaw thrusters from the cockpit. Cargo and fuel add real mass. A heavier ship needs more thrust, takes longer to speed up or slow down, and is less forgiving on approach. Use limited boosters to gain speed or brake hard, or burn regular fuel to counter sideways drift.
Use the navigation display, downward landing camera, and live landing-speed readouts to manage the final approach. If the descent is beyond recovery, deploy the emergency chute. It slows the fall, but damages the ship, disables main thrust, and leaves only limited steering until touchdown.
Choose between optional 3D cockpit instruments and the classic screen-based HUD.
Weather is part of the flight, not scenery. Dust storms and EM squalls cross the landscape. Meteor showers damage systems while you remain airborne. Gravimetric surges force low-flying pilots to climb or land. Rift cyclones can overpower lateral thrust. High-altitude wind rivers can carry you at speed beneath a particle layer that damages exposed hardware.
Hazards can degrade or disable individual thrusters, electronics, lights, and instruments. Emergency repairs may restore a failed system in a weakened state. Land at a base for normal service, or pay more for field repairs after an off-pad landing.
A crash ends the flight, not your progression. Recover at the nearest pad, refuel, and try again.
Compare light, medium, and heavy contracts by destination, distance, payout, and estimated fuel demand. Short jobs are safer and pay modestly. Long, heavy hauls pay sharply more, but fuel, repairs, and booster charges all come from the same earnings.
Upgrade thrust, fuel efficiency, tanks, boosters, cargo capacity, and wind resistance, or invest in lower service costs and higher payouts. A larger cargo bay unlocks heavier work and eventually lets you carry multiple contracts. Deploy persistent fuel caches between bases, or chase stray cargo crates when the extra credits are worth the fuel.
Each map has its own stability, which drains while you fly. Lower stability shortens the calm between major events. Ordinary freight earns credits, but only special offerings delivered into lightning rifts restore stability. Heavier offerings buy more time.
Every completed contract awards a Clearance Point. Bearer Record citations award additional points for milestones such as accepted cargo, successful offerings, clean base-to-base flights, and bases reached. Use Clearance Points to unlock new maps, each with its own landscape, bases, and hazards.
Contribution carriers periodically visit permanent anchorages and open temporary cargo terminals, creating new outbound work while they remain overhead.

Very cool game. Takes patience and skill. The dev is very active with the players. Worth a buy. Nice addition to any library of space enthusiast.
Been waiting for this one as it was in my calendar recommendations. Uninstalled and refunded after 7 minutes of tutorial. Could smell the AI all over.
Don't go into this game expecting an action-packed game with complex mechanics, amazing graphics, or deep lore; if you do you'll be disappointed. This is a very simple physics flight sim to give you the feeling of flying a heavy planet-based cargo ship. You deal with inertia, crosswinds, lateral and vertical thrust, and fuel management. There are some upgrades you can apply by earning credits. Credits also let you repair and refuel your ship. By hauling things you can unlock additional maps that have different environmental hazards to either avoid or use to get around. You can choose which cargo to haul by weight and value. Game runs super smooth and haven't experienced bugs so far. If you go into this game with the expectation of a chill time to experience these things then you may just enjoy it. It's a single active dev that actually responds to the community, and the price is fair at only a few coffees. Wild seeing the one guy complain it's too expensive, someone otta gift him his next indie game so he don't go broke. Overall there's not a lot to this game, but it's been a neat experience. I'm not sure how much more will be added, but it would be really nice to have additional upgrades for the ship; I upgraded everything and don't have much use for all the extra money now. I played the demo a bunch and thought there might be more upgrades found on the other maps, but they are the same. I was thankful the upgrades carried over from the demo! Time-based cargo would be cool too, add some stress to getting the delivery there quicker and forcing more use of boosts. More work on audio would also add to the experience; more ship sounds and layers of them, maybe radio stations with a few different futuristic music options for fun, a physical feeling of settling as the ship lands to go with the landing sounds.

Quite the fun and challenging space flight sim. The controller layout feels very intuitive after getting used to the functions. I'm not sure what that other guy is on about AI usage in the game, but nothing indicates the Dev used anything undisclosed.
Loving the game for me its a nice relaxing sim with a bit of challenge to get to the landing zone with enough fuel to spare I look forward to upgrading the ship so I can make two cargo runs to the same place at one time. besides my last name is hammer so any dev named hammer&hammer gets a thumbs up from me :-P
Great sandbox - it does what it says on the box.
Void Cargo: Equilibrium is a fantastic atmospheric cargo delivery game that takes place across a variety of maps, you manage your upgrades and costs as you navigate around environmental effects and grapple with delivery constraints based on your lander's capabilities and your piloting skills. This game reminds me of games of old with fresh ideas and has its own unique charm that I would classify as nostalgic and retro, its the perfect game to lose time in. I very much look forward to this games future and sinking many more hours into the game! Graphics: 8/10 - Game has a unique style and aesthetic I would classify as nostalgic Sound: 7/10 - it does a good job but could be improved Gameplay: 8/10 - The game loop is satisfying and fun Replayability 8/10 - It truly doesn't end yet the upgrades are over quickly Difficulty: 6/10 - Once you learn to pilot the craft and get upgrades it gets easier Performance: 10/10 - The game runs well not encountered any performance issues
Not sure what or when I started really liking these types of games, but I really do. And I am really liking this. It is a casual cargo simulator where you take gravity, inertia, and weather into account. And you're just hauling. It works, it was $10, thought appears to have gone into it. It was made by a small number of people. The learning curve was up there. It took me about my first hour to learn how to pilot and land. There's a "tutorial," but it could use some improvement. But once I figured out what to do, it became a fun night of hauling space cargo. My single criticism is you are constantly hearing old NASA radio chatter. I mean Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and I think I even caught real shuttle chatter in there. It got a bit grating after a time. I know I could turn it off, but the option to maybe have a little music on, or maybe some in game dialog would have improved the experience. But again, at $10 it is good. And it is quite a competent game. Not sure if it is directionless or if there's something that will change it up a bit, but so far it is relaxing and fun to play. Recommend.
The game is raw, a bit rough around the edges. But there's a beauty to that. The graphics do not try to be beautiful; because the game is not about sightseeing. It's about accurately, actively piloting a fragile, finicky spacecraft and that's why I keep coming back to it even though I'm sure I'll crash my spacecraft yet another time. Oh, and the game is difficult. It doesn't explain certain things, and for now I feel like only one target marker is a bit problematic because I go to throw cargo into a rift, and then I just don't know where the nearest station is! But I'll get there.
Played a little of the demo, a little of the final game. tl;dr: Game is rewarding under only two conditions: you respected it and... it respected you. In term of game mechanic, the game is rightfully advertised. Steam page is accurate. Game has a steep learning curve (as advertised, right?), but once you catch up to it, it can be rewarding. Be aware mechanics make it so you can hardlock yourself, always have some savings, sometimes you might need a round trip if you can afford fuel/cargo upgrades. Take the time to read the Help menu and learn the UI because the game goes very little over it. Learn about stability and how to manage it, I would have loved a more chill mode about hazards but I also don't feel them too much going into them.
