Virtual Space is aiming to become the next gen desktop application which allow you to have a coherent and natural virtual reality desktop experience with VR Goggles like Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

This is FREE, and it works like a charm. It hides your videos when watching through the VR video player, very cutomizable. It'll save you money you'd spend on a paid-for virtual desktop. No problems ever.
This is the only VR video player I have been able to easily get going with proton and steamplay. Scraping through videos and jumping forward will freeze the program up and require restarting SteamVR. It would be awesome if they supported it officially but since it's free and older I doubt we will see that. Still appreciate just the fact that it works at all. I would recommend this, as probably you aren't using linux as your OS, and if it works for me it certainly will for you on windows.
Бесполезное нерабочее приложение, при запуске крэшится
Virtual Space is almost completely unusable for me. It captures my desktop just fine, and I can open MP4 files with it, but I downloaded it specifically for the purpose of streaming videos from YouTube in VR. Since YouTube VR got taken down from Steam, and Steam 360° Video Player doesn't even play YouTube videos, I thought that this would finally be the one to do the trick. Nope. It's not. It can't stream 360° videos on YouTube as advertised anymore. All it does when I try to stream one is give me an error that says "Failed to Extract Video URL". Additionally, the controller-mouse tracking just stopped functioning normally after the first launch. The cursor kinda just moves sporadically wherever it wants to now. I can't point with it anymore, but I can at least make it dart across the screen with my controllers. I had to start using my regular mouse to click things instead. I don't recommend Virtual Space to anyone who wants an authentic way to watch YouTube videos in VR unless these issues get fixed, which I don't think will ever happen given how long it's been since it was last updated. Unless that miraculously happens someday, this review is staying negative.

most links i tried did not work
Today, ive finally uninstaled this app. 180/360 HD videos are plagued by dropped frames and fps issues. 4690k and 1080 means i shouldnt be dropping on most things. Devs say its an optimization issue with unity they are working on, well once its fixed ill come back because virtual desktop is feature rich, i like what it is... but it cannot perform the core function im looking for. HD VIDEO for VR, 180 and 360 degree motions.
