Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage

A TRADITIONAL fighting game from the 90s - With world stage it has minimal single player content, which is similar to virtua fighter 4 EVO on playstation 2 years ago. You fight a rising difficulty of characters through tournaments and arcades and obtain costumes parts. The multiplayer has ROLLBACK and CROSSPLAY very good. The games characters is based on real world martial arts and realistic fighting, hence the title "VIRTUA FIGHTER" . The fighting mechanics is like DOA without the complexity and over the top moves and stage destruction, its main focus is neutral gameplay using crouching light punch as a hi crush. It has mids, and highs , counters, spacing , delayed combos and guard crush. Sides steps actually work in this game it can get you advantage , QUICK someone tell the devs Tekken to take note how a side step should function. Once again some of the moves execution wise is very difficult im talking about AKIRA. The graphics looks very dated, with BLAND textures and no shadows on the characters faces and hair textures, dont let that put you off still decent enough for a fighting game. The sound effects is also very old and dated LOL it just feels like NOSTALGIC SOUNDS from the 90s when you hit someone hard theres a racing car sound LOL. I used Sarah who has offensive mid range kicks and Goh the grappler who can throw on block had fun learning the characters through the command training. With the recent "Secure Boot" and TPM2 update requirements, some players have dwindled and stopped playing, Youll have to check player numbers on SteamDB I believe this was a bad move by SEGA as player numbers is required to keep the multiplayer alive. Astonished to find DURAL as a DLC character when Dural is always the last boss as a free character on previous games. Other DLC is collaborations with tekken and yakuza games. Still a decent game due to crossplay ( YOU HAVE TO ENABLE in setting menu ) you will find players on consoles.
