astounding
Can't believe this 11$ soundtrack comes with a free game.
Me like running and jumping <3
Very satisfying game to play.
Excellent
vholume is a game about moving forward, a game about not pausing to think about what to do next - but to just do it. You will find that when you are doing the best in vholume that you are not thinking at all, you are in a trance. vholume's movement is intuitive and not rational - in this game sprinting is the slowest thing you can do. True momentum has to be found in other places, by sliding, jumping, or running on a wall. vholume does not play like a game about movement - its options are far too limited for that. What it does play like is a the distillation of what it feels like to move in other games. It is more counterstrike surf custom maps instead of a mirrors edge like some might expect. I personally am not one for games where you are chasing the "best time" in a speedrunning sense, and this game is no different. I was not particularly interested in getting gold on all of the maps. However what stuck with me, and what has me rate this game so highly is how I began to think when I played it. It was like going on a hike for my mind. When I played, I felt inspired - thinking about long dormant projects or ideas for new ones.
