what I liked: Cool high sci-fi story. Outsanding ambience graphics. Elusive soundtrack. Responsive controls (although the use of the analog was a bit HARD for me). what I DONT' liked: Timed things = they made me ALMOST give away of the game. but I end up clearing it in the end. As a puzzle plataform gamer I recomend this one.
Beautiful, but every action is laggy and slow (both!) which gets you killed for no fault of your own.
Really enjoyed this game! i see it was reminiscent of Oddworld for others too, and i havent touched that game since the 90's! lol. Was really pleasantly surprised by how good the art work was. There are some really beautiful backgrounds and although im not a big fan of black silloet art, i thought they made it work against the stunning backdrops. Espescially loved the cinema! The soundtrack was atmospheric and the snippets of background story you find on the journey are really cool! -Enough to draw the outlines of an epic story, but quite mysterious enough so your imagination has to do something. This is not for people looking for hardcore action or hardcore puzzles. it's a slower sort of game with stupid enemy's and a few escape sequences i had to play not more than a handfull of times, which is just right for the likes of me. Your character moves SOOO slowly!! but this is perfect, as it gives you more time to admire the beautiful scenery.
I think the game design is gorgeous. The soundtrack is great in some parts of the game, but absent in others. The controls felt clunky but I got used to it by the time of the third playthrough. I should not be that desperate for steam achievements. The game felt like Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey on LSD.
Audiovisually great. Gameplay is fun for the first half, then it becomes too artificially hard and repetitive (very long hard sequences with sadistic check-points) and it's just not fun anymore but just frustrating. Making sense of the plot is impossible without reading all the documents, but you won't find all of them in your fist playthrough so you won't understand anything of what you'll see. And you're unlikely to play it again later. Very poor way to tell a story. I recommend it just because it's short and cheap and it's too beautiful to look at and listen to to be thrown into a garbage bin.
Steam really needs a neutral option. This game is gorgeous, the mechanics can be tedious and somewhat often the light transfer takes 2-3 tries before it'll actually transfer which led me to believe I was wrong about how to solve the puzzle when i wasn't. No clue what the story was cause it was super obscure which means I had no emotional attachment to the game at all. My response when I beat it was well...okay? Game epilogue makes you make a choice except it only let me choose one of the options. I get if you want to have multiple endings but it's super frustrating to be offered a choice only to find out you don't have a choice cause you didn't meet the criteria for the 2nd option. overall this game is gorgeous but meh.
It's a 10/10 on the art department, it's a gorgeous game with a brilliant soundtrack and an interesting (albeit cryptic) storyline. Gameplay-wise.. it's alright, it can be a bit clunky at times, but all in all it's fun to play.
