super relaxation, good map, just great :) :)
Honestly, I really like VertalStrike. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I do, but there is something about this game that just makes me want to keep playing. It’s a simple idea, but it works really well: you get into a match, you spawn, and you are basically straight into the action. There isn’t much pointless waiting around, and that is probably one of the things I enjoy the most. The gunfights are fast and the matches can get pretty chaotic, but in a fun way. You always have something happening around you, so even if you die, you don’t have to sit there waiting forever. You just respawn and get back into the fight. I really like that because sometimes I just want to open a game and have fun without spending half of my time looking for enemies or waiting for a round to end. I also really like the overall style of VertalStrike. The low-poly graphics might not be for everyone, but personally I think they give the game its own identity. Everything is quite clean and easy to see, and the different maps have their own feel. Some areas are more open, while others are tighter and force you into close fights. I actually like that the maps aren’t ridiculously huge because it keeps the matches moving. The game also has a pretty nice variety of modes. Team Deathmatch is probably the mode I enjoy the most because you can just jump in and start fighting, but having Free for All, Capture the Flag, Demolition and Elimination is really nice too. It means you don’t have to play exactly the same type of match every time. I especially like being able to switch between more chaotic modes and modes where you have to think a little more about what you are doing. Another thing I appreciate is the ability to play with bots. Sometimes I don’t want to jump straight into a serious online match, so being able to practice, try different weapons or just mess around against bots is actually really useful. It also makes the game more enjoyable when you just want to play for a while without worrying about how good the other players are. The weapon variety is also pretty good, and I like having different weapons to experiment with. Finding weapons that fit your playstyle and then getting better with them is part of what keeps the game interesting for me. The progression, unlocks and customization also give you something to work towards instead of every match feeling completely pointless. What I like most about VertalStrike, though, is that it feels like a game made because someone actually wanted to make a fun FPS. It doesn’t try to be some massive AAA game with a million complicated systems. You can just launch it, join a match and shoot people. Sometimes that is exactly what I want from a game. Of course, it isn’t perfect. There are still things that could be improved, especially because the game is still being developed. I would like to see more maps, more content and more players as the game grows. Some things can definitely be polished, but I think that is understandable for an indie game that is still receiving updates. What matters to me is that the developers are actually working on it and listening to feedback from the community. And honestly, the fact that the game is free-to-play makes it even easier to recommend. You don’t really have anything to lose by trying it. If you like fast FPS games and you enjoy jumping into quick fights without tons of downtime, I think VertalStrike is definitely worth checking out. I know the game isn’t going to be for everyone, and I’m not saying it is the best FPS ever made. But for me, it’s just a really fun game to come back to. I like the fast gameplay, I like the maps, I like the different modes, and I especially like how quickly you can get back into the action. Overall, I’m really enjoying VertalStrike. It has a lot of potential and I’m genuinely interested to see where the developers take it next. If they keep adding content, improving the game and listening to the players, I think VertalStrike can become a really solid indie FPS. Definitely recommend giving it a try, especially since it’s free. I’ve been having a lot of fun with it and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next.
