Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I love this. I thought that there is no way that in my life I would be able to make artworks using oil paint. But with this I started to learn that oil painting is a very friendly form of artwork all you need is to be patient and pay your attention that you have not noticed before. I use Vermillion to teach myself oil painting following the videos by Bob Ross. If you are reading this comment, you might think it is hard to make oil paints like a great artist. But it is wrong, you can make nice paintings with some trial and error and patience. 10/10 Totally worth buying if you are into oil painting and want to find some where to begin without spending hundreds in shops.

Had a lot of fun on this.
all i want from this program is discord integration if possible, so i can watch my friends play games while i paint as i do this in clip and rebelle too but just doesnt work for vr. but otherwise perfect for my needs. responsive and cozy while functioning full art software. perfect addition to my art software collection.
Игра с полным погружением в мир живописи😍
Controls are smooth, brushes are incredibly realistic, blending colors is seamless and natural, and the haptics are very tactile and intuitive. Painting in the program feels about as natural as you are going to get with a digital experience, and coming from the traditional oil medium, this felt uncannily real and familiar. Highly recommend.
Vermillion - VR Painting, created by Thomas van den Berge, is not so much a game as it is a carefully crafted artistic environment that happens to exist within virtual reality. It strips away traditional notions of objectives, progression, and challenge, replacing them with something far more focused and deliberate: the act of painting itself. From the moment you enter its virtual studio, the experience makes its intent clear—it wants to recreate the process of oil painting as authentically as possible, while still offering the conveniences of a digital medium. The simulation of oil painting is the centerpiece, and it is handled with remarkable attention to detail. Colors behave as they would on a real palette, blending together in nuanced ways that reward experimentation and patience. Applying paint to the canvas carries a weight and texture that feels grounded, with strokes interacting based on thickness, layering, and technique. Rather than simplifying the process, Vermillion leans into its complexity, encouraging players to learn how paint works rather than bypassing those fundamentals. This gives the experience a sense of legitimacy that sets it apart from more casual creative tools. At the same time, the game is careful not to alienate newcomers. It introduces a range of quality-of-life features that make the process more forgiving and accessible. The ability to undo mistakes, use layered workflows, and project reference images directly onto the canvas allows players to approach painting at their own pace. Whether you are following a tutorial, recreating an existing image, or experimenting freely, the tools are flexible enough to support different skill levels without compromising the underlying realism. This balance between authenticity and usability is one of the experience’s strongest qualities. The VR implementation plays a crucial role in how immersive the process feels. You are not simply moving a cursor across a flat screen—you are physically reaching out, mixing paint, adjusting your palette, and applying strokes in a three-dimensional space. The freedom to arrange your workspace adds to this immersion, allowing you to position your canvas, tools, and references in a way that feels natural. Over time, the act of painting becomes almost meditative, with the outside world fading into the background as you focus on each brushstroke and color choice. There is also a quiet satisfaction in seeing a painting come together within this environment. The ability to export finished works as high-quality images or even three-dimensional representations gives a sense of permanence to what you create. It reinforces the idea that your time spent in the virtual studio produces something tangible, not just a fleeting in-game result. The inclusion of a shared mode, where multiple users can paint together, adds another layer to the experience, turning what is often a solitary activity into something collaborative. However, the same dedication to realism can also present challenges. The process of mixing colors, maintaining brushes, and achieving precise results requires patience and practice, much like real painting. For some, this is exactly what makes the experience rewarding; for others, it may feel slow or demanding compared to more forgiving digital art tools. The scope of the application is also intentionally focused—there are not countless styles or experimental tools to explore, as the emphasis remains firmly on traditional oil painting. There are practical considerations as well. Being a VR-exclusive experience means it requires both the hardware and the physical space to fully enjoy, which naturally limits who can access it. Additionally, while the core system is deep and well-realized, the overall variety of environments and features is relatively restrained, meaning long-term engagement depends largely on the player’s own interest in painting rather than the introduction of new content. In the end, Vermillion - VR Painting succeeds by committing fully to its vision. It offers a space where creativity takes precedence over gameplay, delivering an experience that is both immersive and genuinely educational. It does not attempt to simplify art into something instantly gratifying, but instead invites players to engage with the process in a meaningful way. For those willing to invest the time and curiosity, it provides a deeply rewarding and calming experience that stands out as one of the most authentic uses of VR technology. For players looking for structured objectives or fast-paced interaction, it may feel too quiet and focused—but for its intended audience, it is something truly special. Rating: 9/10
bob ross simulator is very awesome i felt like bob ross 5 stars
I would recommend it, you can get into a sort of flow. The eyedropper is super useful, by sampling an empty space on the pallet it clears the brush instantly without getting the water on it to mess up your colors.
