Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 20 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Vampire Therapist is the BAFTA-nominated narrative adventure / therapy simulator in the vein (get it) of What We Do in the Shadows, Young Frankenstein, My Dinner with André, and Horrible Histories where you play as a reformed bloodsucker helping other vampires find inner peace.
This isn't your typical visual novel — featuring a fangtastic cast (such as Matthew Mercer, Sarah Grayson, and Cyrus Nemati), Vampire Therapist teaches real therapy concepts with a story that explores what it means to live, die, live again, and maybe even how to feel alive. Because even vampires deserve to love themselves.
Step into the boots of Sam, a reformed Wild West gunslinger turned vampire therapist. After centuries of bloodshed, Sam teams up with a 3000-year-old blood-sucking mentor in a moody German nightclub, to guide fellow vampires through the twists and turns of their immortal existence — offering them a chance at self-acceptance in a world that feels ever more alien.
From self-loathing vampires who’ve witnessed millennia of human folly to agoraphobic social media addicts, and even those grappling with the trauma of seeing too many awful streaming series (we’ve all been there), Sam’s got his work cut out for him. With each session, Sam will challenge cognitive distortions using real-life therapy techniques to help his clients reconnect with reality — even if reality has left them behind.
You can’t fix the world, but maybe you can help other vampires accept it.
That is, if you can accept yourself first.
"It's simultaneously earnest and winningly ridiculous...a labor of love, and an original one at that." — The Spectator
"Vampire Therapist is shaking a lot of things up in one very elegant bag." — Rock Paper Shotgun
"Every single character was memorable, and the thought of even more quirky clients for Sam to treat is exciting." — GameRant
"I came away from Vampire Therapist actively wanting to emotionally improve and be kinder to myself" - GamesRadar

Real Therapy Concepts: You’ll learn and apply real cognitive behavioral therapy concepts vetted by licensed therapists. By challenging client statements that contain “cognitive distortions”, you’ll help vampires see where their thoughts don’t match reality.
A Comedic Look Through History: Meet emotionally damaged vampires from ancient Greece, Renaissance Italy, Tudor England, and the Bronze Age.
An All-Star Voice Cast: Featuring Matthew Mercer (Critical Role, Baldur's Gate 3), Francesca Meaux (Hades), Sarah Grayson (Gone Home, Hades II), Kylie Clark, and the game's creator, Cyrus Nemati (Hades, Pyre).
Unique Setting: Vampire Therapist merges cozy self-introspection with a dark European goth vibe. In fact, the whole thing takes above a goth club in Germany filled with willing necks to bite.
Minigames: Learn mindfulness meditation, safely and consensually bite sexy necks!
Peaceful Play: You can't lose in Vampire Therapist, and you'll always have a chance to learn and try again... just like life! If you're looking for bad endings or want to kill NPCs, Steam has many excellent offerings for you.
NOTE: Please read the content warning thoroughly before purchase. The game deals with mature and challenging themes that are not for the faint of heart.

Great game, it's funny but also takes the therapy seriously. The characters stories are wholesome and inevitably lead to you caring about them. 10/10
such a great visual novel, taught me a lot about myself and you really get attached to all the characters and it makes you feel things. I love it
Absolutely fang-tastic. Uwielbiałam też wszystkie małe smaczki — fragmenty książek, odniesienia do starych filmów i całą tę mieszankę humoru, historii i popkultury. A voice acting? Fenomenalny. Zdecydowanie polecam. 🦇❤️

GG game though at the beginning some distortions clearly are multi facetted, but only one type of answer is correct
I love vampires(The Astarion funko on my desk is staring at me right now) so obviously I got it Very good decision All the clients are so interesting, Sam is such a sweetie and CRIMSON MARRY ME PLEASE As a German, I had a lot of fun with the pretty horrendous pronounciation, but I honestly can´t blame them and I had a lot of laughs 10/10 game if you like vampires and pretty artstyles and if your friends and family keep telling you that you´d make a great therapist
Haven't 100% the story, but I am in love with the characters I've met so far. I'm so impressed with how the game really helps you identify cognitive distortions. I played the demo with no expectations, and ended up genuinely laughing at some of the dialogue, and I've only enjoyed the game more as it's gone on.
as a psychology student, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. it even helped me pay more attention to my own cognitive distortions. I truly think this game can do good and help people. thank you for creating it!
This game was AMAZING!! I am usually very bad at finishing games but I sat this one all the way through. HEAVILY entertaining as somebody who has been obsessed with vampires from a VERY young age and is also an aspiring psych student! The queer rep warms my little lesbian heart and every single story is so well written. As someone who is plural, I really love trying to interpret Dr. Drayne's story as well. Him and Edmund are my absolute favorites - though I cannot deny the Signora and Meddy are both extremely interesting characters themselves, and I appreciate misogyny being discussed in their stories. THANK YOU LITTLE BAT GAMES!
I hate writing negative reviews so, so much that I am just giving this a positive review. Whatever. This seemed like something that I would have liked very much, but I detest this visual novel, and cannot bring myself to continue to engage with it beyond the little bit that I did get through. Trying to reduce what the other characters are saying into these reductionist binary little categories feels psychopathic and dismissive in a way which brings me not only no joy, but also no personal artistic value.
10/10 I love this game. Very hopeful the sequel will be coming soon.
